WELCOME MHAA TO THE THIRTEENTH ACTIVITY ★

Welcome back to day 13 of the March

Madness event. If you didn’t participate

in the past days that’s OKAY, you still have

the entire month of March to gain coins.

if you participate at least half

of March you will gain a coin bonus and a title.

This prompt’s reward is 50-100 AC. Let’s

get into the details, shall we?

Today, your job is about the different flowers

that bloom in spring. There are many different

types. If you don’t know what flowers bloom

you could always look them up, I have provided

a screenshot below. Anyways, your job is to

either relate a character to the type of flower and

explain why the relate OR you could do it based

off the color scheme.

:cherry_blossom: Flower: Peony

Character: Ochako Uraraka

SPOILER WARNING FOR SHOW MANGA

I chose peony to represent uraraka, because based off what it represents its basically the rose quartz of flowers. Peony, "Generally symbolic of love, honor, happiness wealth, romance, and beauty, the peony is traditionally given on special occasions as an expression of goodwill, best wishes, and joy." Which are common themes in Ochakos heroic journey at U.A. themes of love can be found through her crushes on deku, honor and wealth can be found when she explains her motivation to be a hero is to provide for her family and herself financially and honoring izuku by looking up to him as a role model.

The pink flower symbolizes these things like joy and happiness which the brunette expresses through her bubbly personality within the series. (and it matches her hero costume fr) ochakos love for heroism and helping others means she's full of the goodwill a hero needs. The "best wishes" portion of this flowers symbolism may be able to be scattered once izuku leaves U.A.

Flower: Blue Hyacinth

Meaning: Sincere Care

Character: Mirio Togata

Reason: Mirio is one of the most caring, and sincere characters in my hero academia. Helping the younger students with practical training, and always with a smile upon his face. Togata shows his comion the most during and after Eri's rescue, becoming distraught when Sir Nighteye es away, and continuing to take care of Eri even after the saving took place.

Flower: Purple Hyacinth

Meaning: Seeking Forgiveness

Character: All Might (Toshinori Yagi)

Reason: All Might is a character that has a lot of regrets. Whether it be not being able to teach Midoriya to the full capacity he wishes he could, or mistakes he's made in his past. One specific instance is when Sir Nighteye meets his end. As a fellow hero, and his previous partner, All Might begged Sir Nighteye to fight, and live, to give him a chance to atone for his sins. Overall, Toshinori seeks forgiveness for his past mistakes.

Flower: Yellow Hyacinth

Meaning: Jealousy

Character: Dabi (Toya Todoroki)

Reason: Dabi is a character that grew up in an unstable home and with his father thoroughly beating him down, and suffocating him with his own existence when the character was younger. Given this knowledge, it is understandable that Toya would be jealous of his siblings who got more attention, whether bad or good. Eventually, that jealousy turned to spite. Jealousy and Spite go hand in hand, and I believe that the Yellow Hyacinth portrays Toya this way due to his feelings towards his father (Endeavor) and siblings.

I think pansy represents Deku well because he has love and consideration for everyone, even those who might not be seen as deserving of it to others like Shigaraki, and always tries to see the best in people as well as want to save them. Pansies are based of the word “penser” in French which means “to think” and I feel like Deku’s always thinking and often overthinking.

Flower: Daffodil

Character:All Might

Upon doing a little looking on the internet,I found that this flower means "Rebirth and new beginnings" and signifies the end of the dark days. Along with resilience forgiveness and vitality. This reminds me of All Might, due to him being a Symbol of Peace who gave people hope in Japan's darkest times. He also made everything more positive in a sense wherever he went. Not only that his hair reminds me of the flower now that I look at it, he's a refreshing sight to see just like a daffodil:)
