This will contain spoilers from the recent manga chapter.

╚══*.·:·.✧    ✦    ✧.·:·.*══╝

In the recent My Hero Academia manga chapter, a new character is looking to be accepted into the hero course. I say "new", but it’s actually a character we’ve gotten familiar with during the Sports Festival. With Shinso’s quirk, he was never able to the hero course because of the fact that his quirk is more suited for combat against living being rather than robots, resulting in him failing the Entrance Exam, likely with a score of 0.

However, it seems that there is still hope for him to achieve his dream, as he is now being acknowledged, and likely trained by, Eraserhead.

This all seems well and good, but there’s only one problem. Horikoshi has stated that every class in U.A. has 18 students in total(excluding those itted through recommendations). As Shinso stated during the Sports Festival Arc, if someone were to attempt to transfer to the hero course, the staff would have to kick someone OUT of the hero course. And if it’s true that Shinso is going to be accepted, that means there is likely to be someone out of Class 1-A who will have to leave.

Now, speaking realistically, Shinso would probably just go to Class 1-B, since his quirk isn’t anywhere near the level of Class 1-A. However, it’s still possible that he will be accepted into 1-A because it appears that Mr. Aizawa is going to be teaching Shinso how to fight like he does. The reason I assume this is because of the fact that, in the final scene of the chapter, Shinso appears to be wearing Aizawa’s capturing weapon. And even if this turns out to be false, it’s fun to entertain the idea that someone out of Class 1-A will be kicked down to general studies.

But before we get into that, I just want to rule out the characters that are LEAST likely to be kicked out. Todoroki and Yoayorozu were itted through recommendations, so it would be illogical for them to go to general studies. Bakugo, Kirishima, Iida, and Tokoyami are some of the most powerful students in the class, so the same logic goes for them, as well. Asui is also unlikely to be kicked out, as she was praised by Recovery Girl as being a « stellar student ».

Koda

Koda has possibly one of the weakest quirks in Class 1-A. In a forest or wood-like environment, he can definitely be a powerful adversary. However, criminals tend to be afoot in the city, where there are literally only birds, cats, and domestic dogs. Personally, I have a headcannon that Koda creates his own team of animals that he walks around with on the job, but that’s beside the case. Koda also has one of the lowest character stat totals in the class, coming at 13. So far, he’s yet to do anything of great significance.

Additionally, this may have been foreshadowed during his Final Exam, when he flashbacked to him hugging his mom and being proud of himself for entering the hero course. If he does get kicked out, this would make his send-off even more impactful.

Hagakure

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

Hagakure is definitely the weakest of all the female characters. Her stat total is decent, coming around 16, which is higher than Deku. However, her future as a hero in training doesn’t seem too bright. She is completely useless in an offensive battle, as she has the physique of an average teenager. The only time that she’s ever been useful is when she used her invisibility to defeat Snipes during the Final Exam. Speaking of exams, no one really knows how she ed the Entrance Exam. Horikoshi stated that one doesn’t neccessarily need to destroy the robots to earn points. They can also simply immobilize them. However, Hagakure’s quirk makes this seem impossible. People have also been begging to put Hagakure in the spotlight, so perhaps this is Horokoshi’s way of doing just that.

⋘ ──── ∗ ⋅◈⋅ ∗ ──── ⋙

Mineta

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

Mineta is also likely to be kicked out of the hero course. He lacks strength, speed, and definitely does not have the attitude of a hero. In times of panic, Mineta loses all sanity. This was exhibited during the USJ Attack, his Final Exam, and even during the Training Camp Arc. Yes, he is one of the most clever students in Class 1-A, but that means very little if he is incapable of exhibiting those traits during the times that they are needed.

Mineta’s fallout may have also been foreshadowed by Asui during the USJ Attack. She takes note of Mineta’s extreme sense of panic and fear, and suggests that he shouldn’t be in the hero course if he can’t remain calm during such a time.

Ojiro

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

Y’know, that guy we always forget about. Ojiro’s quirk is widely regarded as the worst quirk in the class. Even though Hagakure’s quirk is even more useless, people are attracted to the fact that her quirk is somewhat funny. However, so far, Ojiro has not had a decent track record. He lost the Battle Trial, mainly relied on Iida during his Final Exam, and never got to shine during the Sports Festival.

Speaking of which, it would be quite ironic if Shinso were to take his place in the Class, since it’s insinuated that the two are not on good .

Not much to say here. He’s a charming character, but also has his faults. He ranked low during the Quirk Apprehension Test, has some of the worst grades in the class, and even failed his Final Exam by inadvertantly letting Mineta do all the work.

Aoyoma

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

Personally, I think Aoyoma is one of the most likely to be kicked out of the hero course. He is tied with several other students for having the lowest character stat in class. He lacks co-operativeness, and seems to be quite selfish, as seen by the fact that his concept page lists "himself" as one of the things he likes, and by how he continued on with the Sports Festival after being hypnotised by Shinso.

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

From a writing standpoint, it would also be good for the story. As of recent, we’ve gotten to know more and more about Aoyoma. We learned about his past and how he’s not as self-confident as he appears to be. It’s possible that the manga explored his character in such a fashion so that we would miss him when he is kicked out of the class.

Uraraka

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

I realize that this is unlikely, but I still feel the need to explore the possibility.

Uraraka is not a powerful character in the slightest. She seems to have a future as a or rescure hero, rather than an offensive one. Her quirk is not all that powerful, to the point where she had to physically teach herself to fight to make up for how weak her quirk is. Additionally, she was absolutely destroyed by her first opponent during the Sports Festival. And while I know it’s easy to dismiss that because she was up against Bakugo, there were two other characters who fought off against him during the tournament(Kirishima and Tokoyami), and both put up a decent fight.

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

However, the main reason why this may not be the case is because of her "main character shield". By that, I mean that it would be silly too cut-off such a vital character in the story. We’ve grown to attached to her and have participated in quite a number of her stories to simply have her taken away. I should also note that it’s likely that many people in BNHA see Uraraka as a strong character. After all, Neijre Hadou, one of the top 3 students of UA, seeked out Uraraka and Asui as her apprentices. Not to mention that Bakugo and Aizawa also noticed her ambitious nature during the Sports Festival. However, I still would be interested in an arc of Uraraka trying to win her way back into the hero course.

Deku

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

Ok, I know this one seems silly, but hear me out. Deku is one of the strongest characters in Class 1-A. He scored Top 10 during the Entrance Exam, ranked rather high during the Sports Festival, managed an Internship with Sir Nighteye, defeated the Hero Killer, defeated the well-known Chisaki, and rescued Eri.

Theory: Who Will Be Kicked Out Of The Hero Course?-[BC]╔══*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*══╗

[BC]This will contain spoilers from the

However, I think if there was a reason why Deku would be kicked out, it would be because he’s broken the rules too many times. He went toe to toe with the Hero Killer, despite it being illegal. He went after Bakugo, against the majority of Class 1-A’s wishes. He got into a fight with Bakugo after-hours, resulting in a 3-day suspension. Out of everyone in Class 1-A, Deku has broken the rules the most, which is ironic since he is one of the more well-mannered and polite students in the class.

Deku also placed last in the Quirk Apprehension Test. Despite him growing a lot more since then, it's possible Aizawa will decide to fulfill his claim of kicking out the student who got last place.

Personally, I don’t think either of these are enough to kick him out of the hero course, but I thought I might as well address the possiblity.

I’m gonna defend Mineta on this one. There is the USJ attack where he played a key role in restraining the shipwreck zone’s villains, his final exam where he single handedly beat a pro hero, and the camp attack where most the students attending the camp were hiding as well, Let’s not forget the ova where he restrained All Might and at the time it was the buff All Might when he could still use one for all and had been acting as a villain to test the students when they returned to the USJ
