❒ intro :

hello again!! i’m back with another writing piece, and this time i’m revolving it around the SAW movies. i want to start this off by saying that this isn’t your average saw movie. yes, there will be torture devices, but no, i will not be following the original plot of the movies (well, sort of). this means that there will be a completely different ending compared to the movies. i hope you guys enjoy my interpretation because i really did have so much fun writing it!

『••✎••』

❒ synopsis :

Shouta Aizawa wakes up in a strange and unfamiliar environment; where the hell could he even be? At first he thinks it’s some sort of prank his friend is pulling on him until his friend ends up dead. It isn’t clear on who his captor is until he hears a familiar voice.

this was all for you .

The sour taste of iron was faint but present on his tongue, his senses were beginning to rise up again. Shouta’s hair seemed to be brushing over his face, which was quite normal to say the least. The first movement he tried making was to push his hair back; key word: tried. His body was upright, sitting in a wooden chair with his wrists being help down by metal. Another metal like bar seemed to be pres against the man’s waist. The pressure of the metal stick was causing an unsettling feeling to come rushing up through his body.

What the hell? Was the flavor in his mouth blood? Was he... restrained? Where was he? Why was there a growing pain around his wrists? Could it have been the weight of the metal?

Questions began to fill the male’s mind, one question being put on the spotlight; why was it so damn dark? The area was barely visible to the naked eye, even Shouta was having trouble seeing past the darkness. He prided himself for having great eyesight though right now, the necessary ability seemed to have been wiped away. The only manageable thing to see was a small crack of light just a few feet away. If he wasn’t practically tied down to his seat, Shouta could have reached out to grab the knob of the door and run out.

“What the fuck?” Shouta grunted out, beginning to shake his wrist a bit, trying to get free from the tight grasp of the metal wrapped around it. Before more profanities could be muttered, a small light from just above the male’s head shined quite brightly for its size. The room was a lot more visible now, the surroundings were still covered in darkness though a small wooden table and a television were able to be seen.

A static noise quickly jumpstarted the old television before an image showed up; a bizarre looking puppet on a tricycle. It would have been quite laughable really, especially if Shouta wasn’t in such a position like this. For such a childish figure, the words coming out along with the sound of their voice made the puppet seem terrifying.

“Hello Shouta Aizawa. Want to play a game?” The puppet had asked, the voice was strangely deep and unfamiliar. “Well, preferably not.” Shouta said softly under his breathe, not thinking that the damn puppet was listening to him. The black haired male continued trying to find a way out of these metal shackles.

“Here’s what will happen if you lose.” The voice went on, through now, the puppet was out of frame. The camera seemed to be facing a chair that was the exact same as Shouta; if not the same one. “You have a metal bar over your stomach and metal shackles over your hands. Basically, you’re completely immobilized.” The puppet had said; and this was in fact true. Shouta could still kick his meet around, though his upper body was stiff. The male’s head could move still, though that didn’t create much of a difference.

“If you haven’t noticed, just above your head there are over forty-three needles attached to over two hundred pounds of brick.” Shouta glanced upwards, again, this was true. Forty-three was such an odd number, why so... specific?

Damn it Aizawa, stop analyzing the situation. Find a way to get out of this mess.

Shouta was a person who didn’t particularly show too much emotion in situations like this. Hell, he was a high school teacher, he had to deal with persistent and god awful children daily. The man glanced back up to the television.

“If you fail to complete your task, you’ll be crushed.” Not even a second later, the needles and brick landed on top of the wooden chair, which was crushed and punctured by the weight, demonstrating how Shouta could be next if he didn’t comply. At this moment, his heart began to race just a bit.

“I know how you are already Shouta. Trying to hide all of that fear, I can see it already. Maybe this will get your blood rushing.” The television went black, only to bring up another figure. Wait- was that-

“Hello?? Where am I?” The blond man had said, he look a bit unfamiliar with his glasses and his hair being messed up. The pointy spike of Hizashi’s hair was gone, but his voice sounded exactly the same. “Hizashi.” Shouta had said softly, a grip beginning to develop over the handle of the seat he was on. Watching his friend in a position like that; his arms were restrained as well as his legs. Hizashi’s body was pressed up against a wall while his arms and legs were stretched apart from one another.

Shouta’s friend was met up with the same bizarre puppet, though Hizashi seemed to be much more frantic when the puppet showed up. “This isn’t funny! Aizawa?? Is that you? This prank isn’t cool, ya dig?”

Shouta’s eyes seemed to stuck onto the television. The words replayed in his mind; “Maybe this will get your blood rushing.” Did they-

The thoughts seemed to be interrupted when he heard the puppet’s task. “You must unshackle yourself from the grasp of these metal plates. There are keys just a few inches away from your left hand. In order to grab the key, you must pop your right shoulder out of it’s t. Failure to do so will lead to your whole body being cut in half thanks to the blade just across the room.”

“That voice of yours... it’s quite obnoxious. It’s so high, almost like some sort of frequency that’s just too high for other to hear. Along with your task, I will be playing a frequency loud enough for your ears to bleed and maybe your eardrums will even burst. Since that’s what your voice does to me.” The puppet’s voice has said.

“Alright Shouta, you’re freaking me out. Come on, get me out of here.” The smiley man had said; though right now, the smile was gone and replaced with genuine fear. Out of nowhere, the noise that seemed to echo through the footage wasn’t heard through the television, though the face Shouta’s friend had made was painful to watch.

Hizashi’s face contorted, furrowing his eyebrows when the noise began to go straight into his ears. The man began to scream and tried kicking upwards towards the key that was only a few inches away. It seemed like how was trying to create momentum in his body. Blood was visible; coming from the blond’s ears. Shouta’s tried getting up, trying to get out of this damn chair. His friend; his best friend was hurting. “Dammit. Stop!” Shouta yelled out, tightening his teeth as he began to stretched his legs out, trying to stand up. It seemed like the chair was either too heavy to carry or attached to the ground.

With that one sentence, the television went black and the pain coming from his friend’s lips were no longer present. “I would say, you’re a little too late for that Shouta.” The voice said through some sort of intercom coming from the room. With that announcement, a light from across the room shined just like the black haired man’s. The thumping of his heart seemed to stop when being shown the mess.

Hizashi’s legs weren’t attached to his body anymore; they lied limply on the solid ground. A pool of blood seemed to have fallen right underneath the body as well. His arms were limp, it was also obvious that his right shoulder had been in an unnatural position. Hizashi had tried. The man had tried escaping from such a treacherous trap; but how had he gotten himself into this? Was it because of Shouta? And if that was the case; why the fuck was he here too.

“What the fuck is this? Some type of joke? Show yourself, you fucking coward.” Shouta has said, a crack erupting from his throat since he had seen his best friend dead. Suddenly, footsteps began to be audible. They were actually coming? If he wasn’t restrained, he would kill the bastard for doing the unthinkable. Quick; Shouta had to get out of here, he had to just-

“Hey Shouta.” The voice; a female? And, oh fuck. Shouta tried twisting his head to see if his ears were deceiving him; but unfortunately they weren’t. Her bright green hair and the headband she always wore; Emi Fukukado, someone who has shown a strong interest to the male. “Being rejected for over forty-three times is quite heartbreaking. I tried laughing through it but... it’s just too hard.”

“You fucking bitch.” Shouta had said, his voice cracking when she brought out a thin metal stick, inserting it into his right hand’s shackle. What was she doing? Before he could even question it out loud, a pain began to arise from that same hand. The stick was puncturing his skin, and it seemed to have made the male dizzy. Drugs? Poison? “Why him? Why couldn’t you have just taken me?” He asked, the tears were beginning to rush down.

“Oh, Yamada? He always got in my way. The bastard had to be dealt with somehow.” Emi had said, pressing more of her weight into the metal stick that was still inside the shackles. This earned a loud yelp coming from Shouta. “By the way, he would have ed my test if I let him. But, I had other intentions.” She continues to mock. Shouta kicked his leg up, attempting to kick the girl in the shin but was unsuccessful because of how tired he had grown.

“Oh, don’t be like that Shouta.” Emi said softly, the smile on her face was growing bigger when she reached up to touch his face. Her thumb brushed up against the man’s cheekbone, wiping away the tear of shock. The man began to feel his eyes getting droopy. “This was all for you.”
