I decided to write this today, so here you go!
Bakugou x Todoroki
Masquerade party AU
Katsuki Bakugou wanted to be anywhere other than that party. He wasn’t sure why his friend, Izuku Midoriya had forced him to go anyway. The party looked like something out of a Harry Potter novel with the hanging fairy lights and frilly costumes. Katsuki glared at the crowd as he silently dared anyone to try and approach him for a dance. His black and red ensemble looked almost as menacing as he did.
“Don’t want to dance? Kinda strange you came to a masquerade then” The voice made him jump. The strange boy next to him had an ice blue mask on and a matching suit.
“Tch, I was forced here anyway” Katsuki sneered. His face became almost as red as his mask. He had to it he thought the boy was cute.
“Care to dance with me then?” The boy held out his hand. Katsuki stared at him for a moment before grabbing his hand. “I’m Shoto” He smiled gently.
“Katsuki” He grumbled as they started a waltz. He was mad at how graceful Shoto seemed compared to him, almost as if he had been professionally trained. He stumbled over himself occasionally but was proud that he was able to keep up.
Before either of them wanted the song had ended and Izuku was waving him over to go. When he turned around to say goodbye Shoto was already making his way through the crowd to a table where a large, angry man sat, presumably his father.
“Well bye!” Katsuki shouted before turning around to go to Izuku.
“Do you have any idea who you were dancing with?” Izuku looked at him incredulously. He resembled broccoli by how much green he had on.
“He said his name was Shoto” He mumbled
“That was Shoto Todoroki, his dad is the hero Endeavor!” Izuku grinned at him. “It was basically his birthday party minus cake and presents”
“He just seemed like a spoiled rich kid” He sneered. But dammit if he didn’t think the spoiled rich kid was cute.
