Saturday~
The common room was buzzing with activity on this warm Saturday morning. Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Jiro were playing a game on the TV; Ashido sat next to them, cheering them on. Sato was in the kitchen, cooking brunch for everyone with some help from Koda. Shinso was sat in the corner of the room, having a nap with his cat curled up on his lap. Bakugo, Iida and Shoji were seated at the dining table, studying. Yaoyorozu was helping Hagakure with her homework. Uraraka, Asui, Midoriya and Aoyama were laying on some beanbags, chatting about heroes. Todoroki and Ojiro were outside, training. And Tokoyami was sat under the shadows of a tree, talking with Dark Shadow.
The humid air hung heavy in the common room as the morning sunlight poured through the open windows. Outside, the birds sang their beautiful melodies and the wind rustled the leaves on the trees, creating a soothing orchestra of nature. A refreshing breeze trickled through the open windows, cooling the room to a pleasant temperature.
Mina suddenly gasped and sprang to her feet. "Hey guys! You know what we haven't had in aaages?" She paused for effect as her classmates looked up from what they were doing before saying enthusiastically, "A class 1-A sleepover!"
"Oh my gosh, you're totally right," Hagakure squealed in excitement.
"You're right! Let's do it!" Kaminari exclaimed, pumping a fist into the air.
Bakugo rolled his eyes and mumbled, "Stupid extras."
"So? Who's up for it?" Mina prompted.
Her classmates replied with excited "yeah"s as they agreed.
Bakugo replied with "no" but Kirishima spoke for him and said he'd be there, earning him a death glare.
"So, uh—where exactly will we all be sleeping?" Shinso asked, peeking through one eye.
Mina gasped in realisation, "Oh yeah! Shinso, this will be your first ever 1-A sleepover!" She explained for him, "So we usually take our pillows and sleeping bags down to the common room and eat snacks and watch movies together and then we play a few games." She smirked evilly at the last part.
"What kind of games?" Hitoshi questioned, now opening both eyes and sitting up a little, his interest peaked.
"You'll see," Ashido winked.
"Should I be worried?" Hitoshi said in a tired voice, although his eyes showed a glint if amusement.
Midoriya laughed, "Nah, it's fun!"
Later~
After the class had brought all their pillows and sleeping bags downstairs and gathered some goodies, they spent a few hours playing Mario Kart and Call of Duty before watching The Lion King and Enchanted.
It was 11PM when they finished their mini Disney marathon and Mina bounced to her feet to suggest that they get into the games.
"What should we play first?" Kyoka asked.
"Cards against humanity?" Denki suggested.
Eijiro shook his head, "Nah, we overplayed that last time."
"How about truth or dare?" Shoji said.
Sero nodded, "Good idea! That's one game that can't ever be overplayed."
The class agreed and sat down in a circle on the floor. Momo created an empty wine bottle and placed it in the middle of their group. "We shall recycle it later," she said with a smile.
Ashido spun the bottle and it landed on Kaminari. The girl grinned and asked, "Truth or dare, dude?"
Denki thought for a moment before saying, "Truth. Your dares are always lethal."
Mina laughed then asked, "What was the last thing you searched on your phone?"
Denki tilted his head back and groaned, "Ahh, whyyy."
"Geez man, what do you look up on your phone?" Kirishima said suspiciously, laughing a bit.
Kaminari shrugged, "I don't actually but I know that no matter what, you guys are gonna roast me for it." He took his phone out of his pocket and went onto his search history.
Jiro leaned over and snatched his phone from his hand.
"Hey!"
Jiro laughed at him then looked at his phone. After a moment, she clasped a hand over her mouth and started giggling.
"What? What is it? Tell us!" Toru demanded.
Jiro spoke through her laughs, "Why isn't 11 pronounced onety one. That one doesn't surprise me." There were a few sniggers and eye rolls.
Denki threw up his arms, "What? Doesn't make sense to me."
"Next one," Kyoka said. "If I ate myself would I double in size?"
"That's actually a good question," Sero said thoughtfully.
Bakugo tsked, "Idiots."
"Next was him searching up the answers to our English homework," Jiro rolled her eyes. "Then there's... Can sniffing glue give you brain cancer?" She blinked, "I—moving on! Can you eat blu tack? Uhm—?"
"Yes. Yes you can," Kaminari stated, grinning as if pleased with himself.
"I don't even want to ask..." Kyoka continued, "Last but not least, also my personal favourite... Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and think, 'what a wattage'?" The class laughed. "Okay, I think we've destroyed Denki's dignity enough now," Jiro sniggered. "Spin the bottle again."
Denki shot her a playful scowl before leaning over on his knees to spin the bottle. It landed on Tokoyami. He asked, "T or D, my dude?"
"Truth," Tokoyami said, nonchalant.
"Hmm. Describe the weirdest dream you've ever had."
Tokoyami pondered for a moment before saying, "I was in a pit of darkness. And all I could see... was black."
The room went silent as they expected him to carry on, but he didn't.
"Oookayyy, spin the bottle again!" Mina said. Fumikage did so and the pointer stopped at Jiro.
Before he could even ask, Jiro said, "Truth. I'm too lazy to do a dare right now."
Tokoyami nodded then asked, "What's your biggest fear?"
Jiro answered easily, "Nomophobia."
"Who?" Kaminari queried.
"It's the fear of losing mobile phone service. It's a real thing, look it up."
"I would but I have no phone serv—"
"I will not hesitate to kill you," Jiro warned, pointing her earphone jacks at Denki threateningly. Kaminari mimed zipping his lips. Kyoka rolled her eyes before she reached forward to spin the bottle and it landed on Midoriya. "Truth or dare?" She asked.
"No one's gone with a dare yet so I guess I'll choose that," Midoriya shrugged.
Jiro nodded then puckered her lips and squinted her eyes at Midoriya as the cogs in her brain were spinning away. She grinned when an idea finally came to her, "Okay, I dare you to sing."
Izuku's eyes widened, "W-what?!"
"You heard me. You can choose any song you like and you have to sing to the end," Jiro said with a smile.
Midoriya put his face in his hands and let out a sigh before uncovering his face again, "Okay, fine." He moved to sit next to Jiro and Kaminari as they sorted out the backup music for the song he chose. When they had set everything up, Izuku stood and walked to the side of the room, his little heart hammering away as his anxiety crawled beneath his skin, sending small shivers down his body. He clenched his fists to lessen the shaking and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.
"Maybe you should choose another dare, Jiro..." Momo suggested, eyeing Midoriya with a concerned look.
"No, no I can do it." Midoriya said more confidently. This would be his first time singing in front of an audience and singing a song in English, but this only gave him more determination to give it his all. He nodded to Jiro to start the music and she did so. As the music began the song off, Izuku glanced nervously at Shinso who gave him a comforting thumbs up. Izuku smiled and then opened his mouth, chest rising as he began to sing; his voice was soft and the lyrics flowed elegantly from his mouth, "Oh, I can't fight this feeling any longer
And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow
What started as a friendship has grown stronger
I only wish I had the strength to let it show."
(Imagine his voice sounding like this)
Midoriya hit each note perfectly, even adding some oomf into a few words when he got going. When the song finished, the room went silent, the class gawking at him. Suddenly, the whole class began cheering and whistling.
"Midoriya bro, that was amazing!"
"Ahh, magnifique!"
"So beautiful, Deku!"
"Holy crap dude, that was dope!"
"SINCE WHEN WERE YOU FUCKING ABLE TO SING, DEKU?!"
Midoriya blushed and hid his face in his hands, muffling his voice, "I—I've always been too shy to sing in front of other people."
"You should do it more," Todoroki said.
"Yeah, dude!" Ashido squealed.
"Coulda at least picked a decent song," Bakugo grunted.
Shinso said simply, "I thought it was cute."
"Cute, huh?" Denki said, raising a brow.
Shit. He'd meant to say good, not cute. Hitoshi just shrugged casually in response.
"Th-thanks, guys!" Izuku said nervously, attempting to cover his red face with his arms. "I'll spin the bottle now!"
The game continued as Uraraka, Sato, Asui, Yaoyorozu, Koda and Sero had their turns. Now Sero was thinking of a dare for Iida. He smirked as an idea sprung to his mind, "I dare you to slag off a teacher."
Tenya gasped, "I beg your pardon? I could never do that! The teachers at U.A. work hard to ensure our education is to its utmost standard!"
"Oh, it's okay, you can say it behind their back to us."
"That's worse!"
Kaminari rolled his eyes, "Dude, all you gotta do is say something you don't like about a teacher."
Iida pursed his lips, breathing through his nose for a short while before he let out a sigh, "Fine. I think Aizawa Sensei should save his sleeping until lessons are over. And he should at least try to reorganise his schedule so that he has more time to get a decent nights sleep so that he is not tired throughout the day." There were a few teasing "Ohhh"s and "Burrnnnn"s from his classmates. "Please don't tell Sensei I said that, Shinso. I beg you," Iida pleaded. Hitoshi looked at him blankly then took out his phone and started pressing some numbers. "W-what are you doing?" Iida questioned.
"Calling Aizawa," Shinso replied calmly, his phone ringing in his hand. When it went silent and a timer showed up on his screen, he held his phone to his mouth, "Hey, Dad. There's something I need to tell you..."
Iida held his breath. He'd thought Shinso was just joking.
"Well—ask actually. Can we get Chinese takeaway tomorrow night? ... Thanks," Shinso hung up and put his phone in his pocket then looked up at the whole class watching him with their jaws dropped. He pretended to look surprised, "Oh. Did you want me to let him know something?"
Denki and Sero burst out laughing, rolling on the floor. The rest of the class ed in, wiping away tears from their eyes as they watched Iida's expression change from panic-stricken to angry to attempting not to laugh. "You got me there," Iida itted. Shinso gave him a smirk.
"Spin the bottleee!" Hagakure prompted, still wiping tears from her eyes.
Iida pushed the glass and it stopped at Shinso. "Well fuck," Shinso said.
Tenya chuckled mischievously, "Well then. Truth or dare?"
Hitoshi sighed, "Dare."
Iida rubbed his hands together as if he were conducting an evil plan, "I have decided to hand this over to Ashido. Consider this payback, Shinso."
The scared expressions on his classmates' faces did not go unnoticed by Shinso. "Is that a bad thing?" He asked. The class nodded.
Kaminari patted his shoulder, "Rest in peace, man."
Mina grinned evilly and stretched her arms then clicked her neck. "Shall we get started then? I believe it's time we take this game to the next level." The pink girl squinted her eyes at Shinso for an uncomfortably long time before she said, "I dare you to kiss someone."
"Seriously? That's so awkward," Hitoshi groaned.
"You gotta do itttt. That's the dareee," Hagakure urged.
Shinso sighed, "Okay. Do I get to choose who?"
"Yep!" Ashido exclaimed, grinning with her teeth.
Hitoshi's purple eyes scanned slowly around the circle at each person as if he were deciding who to pick. But he knew from the start who it was going to be. A smirk curled onto his lips when his gaze landed on a certain green-haired boy, "Midoriya." Maybe this dare wouldn't be too bad after all.
Izuku's eyes widened in shock. He probably shouldn't have been so surprised as he was the closest to Shinso out of all of class 1-A, but still—this was going to be embarrassing. His cheeks immediately flushed and his neck started disappearing into his shoulders as he shrunk in on himself, "O-o-okay." There were a few "ooooh"s and whistles and a fangirlish squeak from Mina, making Izuku blush even more.
Hitoshi rolled his eyes at his classmates, "Geez, calm down. It's not that big of a deal." Pfft. Sure. He stood up and walked into the middle of the circle, gesturing with his index finger for Midoriya to come over.
Izuku got up and walked over to him nervously. He'd never actually kissed anyone before so he had absolutely no idea what to do. What made it worse was that they had an audience.
Hitoshi laughed nicely, picking up on Izuku's nervous aura, "Hey, relax. Just think of it as kissing practice."
Midoriya smiled sheepishly and nodded his head. He then waited for Shinso to make the first move, trying to block out their classmates, who were watching them intently.
Hitoshi smirked and smoothly stepped right up to the other boy, so close that he could feel his nervous, warm breaths against his face. He gently placed a hand on Izuku's cheek and leaned in, pressing their lips together.
Midoriya was shocked at how smooth and gentle Shinso was. He didn't know what he was doing so he just went with it and kissed back, even tilting his head to the side to get a better angle, opening his mouth a little.
Shinso smirked slightly into the kiss as Midoriya full on went for it, surprising him. Damn, Izuku was actually a pretty good kisser.
They even went for a second kiss without parting, tilting their heads the other way to change positions. Eventually, they parted slowly and their eyes locked for a long moment...
"—Well that was hot." Ashido broke the silence.
Izuku stifled a gasp as he ed that the whole class was watching. He also realised that he'd absently wrapped his arm around Shinso's waist during their kiss and quickly dropped it in embarrassment, taking a step back.
Hitoshi didn't care as their classmates began talking, complimenting them or whistling. He just kept looking at Izuku. "You surprised me there; you're a great kisser."
Deku's face turned a dangerous shade of red as he squeaked, "I—oh—uh—th-thanks. It-it was my first kiss." He added, "You were really good too. You must've had l-lots of practise."
Shinso raised a brow then smiled, "Actually, that was my first kiss too." He winked then went to sit back down in his seat.
It was physically impossible for Midoriya's skin pigment to deepen any further than the tomato colour it was curently at. He sat back down, avoiding any smirks sent his way from his classmates.
The bottle stopped at Kaminari again but they decided it would be fair to let everyone have a turn so Shinso spun it again and it landed on Kirishima. "Truth or dare?"
"Hmm, truth!"
"Out of... Ashido, Kaminari and Bakugo, who would you kiss, marry and kill?"
Eijiro laughed a little then placed his hand on his head as he considered. "I think I'd kiss Ashido." Mina smiled and did a peace sign. "Marry Kaminari."
Denki bro-fisted him, "Bro!"
"Bro!" Kirishima then said with a smirk, "And kill Bakugo."
"WHAT?!" An angry Pomeranian shouted.
Eijiro chuckled, "I'm kidding Bakubro; I wouldn't even think about killing you. That wouldn't be manly."
"If you kill me, I will fucking murder you," Katsuki growled.
"Bakugo logic," Sero sniggered.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, TAPE-FACE?!"
"Crap. Spin the bottle before shit goes down!" Ashido said.
Kirishima did so and of course it would stop at Bakugo.
"Oh dear," Momo whispered.
Eijiro asked his friend, "Truth or dare, bro?"
Bakugo scowled and crossed his arms, "Dare."
Kirishima smirked, "I dare you to hide Aizawa Sensei's sleeping bag."
"That's probably not the smartest idea—" Iida informed him.
"Where is it?" Bakugo demanded, standing up abruptly.
"Knowing Sensei, he's probably in it right now," Asui said.
"Actually he's out patrolling the city tonight," Shinso said. "He sometimes leaves it in the teacher's lounge so it might be there."
"Won't it be locked though?" Uraraka asked.
Kirishima shrugged, "They don't usually bother to lock it. I mean, the worst thing someone could steal is the coffee percolator."
Ashido jumped to her feet excitedly, "Great, then lets go!"
"Don't tell me what to do, Pinky," Bakugo snapped as he shoved his feet into his slippers before storming out the building. 1-A followed in his wake. The group soon found themselves outside the door to the teacher's lounge. The school's hallways were dark and layered by shadows. Moonlight shone through the windows, illuminating the areas it touched with an eerie white light.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Yaoyorozu whispered uncertainly.
"Agreed," Iida said. "I think this was an irresponsible idea. We will get in a lot of trouble if we are caught."
Kaminari smirked, "Let's not get caught then."
"Then we need to be quiet. Bakugo, I'm talking to you," Ashido said with a small smile.
"Tch. Quiet's my middle name," Katsuki said before twisting the door handle and pushing it open with so much force that it smashed against the wall, surprisingly not breaking it. The class winced at the noise, checking over their shoulders for any teachers.
"Yeah. Real quiet, dude," Sero chuckled. The small group stepped into the room and began searching for the yellow sleeping back. It wasn't long before someone found it.
"Got it!" Jiro declared, holding it up from the chair she'd found it draped across. Some of the class cheered quietly and Bakugo went over to take it from her.
"Now we just gotta find a good place to hide it," Denki said thoughtfully.
"Maybe we should hide it in some other teacher's locker; make it look like they took it. Maybe Present Mic's," Kaminari suggested with a grin.
"Yeah! That's totally something he would do!" Hagaruke laughed.
"No. We don't want to be the cause of a teacher argument. Just leave it in our classroom," Iida said.
Kirishima scratched at his head, "But then it'll be obvious we did it." Whilst everyone was busy bickering over where they should hide the sleeping bag, Bakugo grew impatient and walked over to the window, opening it and chucking the yellow bag out.
"Well I guess that settles it," Shinso commented. The class glanced at him and then at Bakugo, finally noticing what he had just done. A few people sniggered, some looked horrified, others looked like they just wanted to go to bed.
"Bakugo! I can't believe you just did that," Iida gaped.
"Yeah, well get over it, Four-Eyes," Katsuki snarled as he marched out of the teacher's lounge, heading back to the dorms.
"Sensei's going to be so mad when he finds it missing," Midoriya said nervously.
"Well, guess I'll see you all in Hell," Kaminari joked. The class chuckled grimly before walking back to Heights Alliance, pondering on what horrors would be awaiting them the next day...
