Hello you wonderful people!

Today I bring you another RP starter. This one however is based on my awesome Zombie Apocalypse Au that I plan on adding to at some point. I also plan to work on a fanfic of some kind eventually. But yeah right now you've got this. This is from Dabi's perspective.

If anyone's interested, my DMS are always open.

“We Don’t Smile Anymore”

It’s a phrase you will see written on the walls all around the world or more accurately, what’s left of it.

Just a few years ago the world was a normal place. Society was sort of falling apart but back even then it was much better than it is now. That is because just a few years ago a plague broke out, quickly spreading all around the world and killing off millions. The thing is, the dead didn’t stay dead for long. No one really knows how the infection now commonly known as The Madness started. Back when there were still heaps of people kicking about you’d get all kinds of theories, anything from a government experiment gone wrong to aliens invading the earth, nothing was off the table. But well, no one ever really found out. No one ever got too.

It's been about two years since Dabi last saw another fully living human being. Two years since he spoke to anyone else in this broken world. As far as he was aware, everyone else he’s ever known was either dead or some kind of messed up zombie thing that wanted HIM dead. It's safe to say that his life has been far from pleasant for the past few years. Especially since he was completely alone.

At first he loved it. I mean how could he not? He finally got some peace and quiet and he got to watch people get consumed by his azure flames. Well calling those things ‘people’ is a bit of a stretch honestly but it was close enough and he was having fun…for about a week. You’d think he’d enjoy that kind of thing for longer but well it got boring pretty quick, not to mention that it also got increasingly more and more dangerous. The disease began to mutate into all these strains, new variants popping up left and right. It all started to become a bit hard to handle. He had to start writing stuff down just to make sense of it all. Usually he wasn’t the type of person to do this kind of stuff, documenting stuff and so on. But it's not like there was anyone else around to do it for him. He had to track that stuff somehow. And so he wrote and wrote, doing his best to write down everything he knew. It became a way to cope with everything around him. A reason for him to just keep going because maybe there was still someone out there. Someone alive. Someone still breathing.

People always say that you won’t miss something until it’s truly gone. It's true. He could tell you that himself after living in this nightmare for so long. He’d honestly do some unspeakable things just to go back to how things used to be. Hell he’d even rather forgive his own father for everything he’s ever done then spend another night barricaded in a room in some abandoned building, praying to whatever higher being that may or may not exist that those undead things wouldn’t find him. That’s how much he hated this. He missed his old life. He missed the damn league, even if they all pissed him the hell off. If he could he’d honestly spend an eternity listening to that psycho blonde talk about stupid crap then continue this utterly miserable existence. But well.. He wouldn’t ever get to. Not yet at least.

As he sat there, exhausted and injured, backed into this tiny alleyway with no escape route, he silently prayed that this would be over quick. He was never a believer in the afterlife or so on but right now he was willing to believe anything if there was even the slightest chance he’d get to see his friends again. Friends. Can you believe it? That’s not what he used to think of those freaks. But well, he’d realised by now that it's what they really were. He silently sat there, listening to the sounds of the undead approaching, the hoard he’d accidentally attracted hot on his trail. They were thoughtless husks but their keen sense of hearing and smell guided them well, drawing them close.
