When you wanted to make a silly lil OC, but then overthink and have a crisis at 3am

So, as the title says, I started creating this girl with a simple idea in mind.

Using recess mutation quirk genes to make a thicc reptile girl.

Many people don't use or seem to be aware of them, even tho there are multiple characters seen with non-human features that aren't related to their quirk.

Like Tokoyami, Mina and (possibly) one of Tsuyus friends outside of UA

So I finished her design and then went on to some base information about her.

Her name is Ari Kyong (23), native to South-Korea, but currently stationed in Japan with her older brother under her families orders.

Said family consists of a Yakuza clan (japanese mafia - some also operate in South Korea) from her mothers side and the Jopok (Korean mafia) being her fathers, that married and fused both powers in a last ditch effort to survive in the modern hero age.

Quirk: Weight manipulation

Her quirk in itself is rather simple.

Ari can change her own weight or, only upon touch, the weight of others and objects to any degree that she wants. Can be as light as a feather or up to 20 tons.

Changing the weight of others drains her easily however, so she usually just sticks to only changing her own, unless it's really necessary.

Left : Increase

Increasing the weight drastically during an attack before impact, naturally causes massive damage to whatever was hit.

i:Movement during that period however is (depending on the weight) hindered to completely stopped, since your legs can't just carry 20 tons.

Right : Decrease

Lightening the s weight allows them to move faster. When going as low as a feathers weight, they're able to float

i:Attacks will have a lot less punch to them during that time and huge care is advised when going as light as a feather, since even swinging an arm carelessly could send you spinning and out of controll.

Until I woke up at 3am and started to think.

I started to wreck my mind, google and analyze the reptilian part of her body that's a mix of snake and crocodillian.

Realising how big and heavy she actually would be.

Realising how she could and would run someone over or do quite some damage with a hipcheck.

Realising what an absolute unit she is.

So I went back to drawing. Sketched it all nicely out. Calculated.

But I was still not done.

After all, what would her biology be like in order for her body to work? What size and roughly where would her organs have to be?

I continued on.

I then started to think how she would have to eat a large amounts of food to keep this massive of a body going, since she's not coldblooded like a reptile and constantly on the go.

That she would also have to watch her food to make sure she gets enough of the nutrients and minerals she needs.

How other people with animalistic mutation quirks to that degree probably have to do the same (like Spinner. Lots of traditional japanese food however involves fish, rice and eggs, so both should be good to go)

And then my thought drifted to clothing.

After all, it would become quickly annoying if she'd have to scrub her feet and stomach every time she goes outside. Especially since it wouldn't be that easy and rather awkward with such big of a body.

So I went to draw my last and final piece

Fun little fact/detail I included that I forgot to mention: if you look at her tail, you'll notice that it tapers rather abruptly, which shows that she's female.

i:Snake keepers and breeders often use this method to determine the gender of a snake, since the tail of males slowly comes together to a small point, while a females ends nearly instantly
