Hi! I hope you're all doing ok!

These uncertain times are scary and even confusing to some, but you'll get through it. I promise!

Anyway, I am almost late to this because it's Sunday here and it's just because I've lost motivation recently, and it's hard to get that motivation back.

The theme for this weekend is Met Gala, and so I searched google for this year's Met Theme, though I'm not even sure if it went on because of the virus.

The theme was

About Time: Fashion and Duration

"Inspired by Virginia Woolf and 20th-century French philosopher Henri Bergson, the exhibit will look back at the timeline of women's fashion from the last 150 years (dating from 1870 to today) to coincide with the Met's 150th anniversary. Woolf will serve as the "ghost narrator" of the exhibit."

I went into researching Japanese clothing and women in general in 1920s Japan (which is about the same time the Demon Slayer series also takes place), where many women and men were reserved and usually went out in Kimonos, but also what could have been seen as Western inspired fashion to most. V

I have many ideas for a lot of characters I wanted to make in one post, but unfortunately I did not have time.

I took the few hours I had to draw Yaoyorozu, my first idea, sketching her on paper then drawing her digitally which usually ends up looking like crap.

The first image is just some added light Geisha makeup to Yaoyorozus face and a hairpin. I think the full headdress would have taken me more time.
