Overall Personality ‧₊˚

꒰ For those he's newly aquainted with or just the side of himself he shows most often, Hasami is very friendly and easygoing. If he finds people he's even slightly drawn too he'll stick to them and follow them around, down to go along with just about whatever. He's not scared to approach others so making friends and even just interacting with strangers is very easy and seemingly natural for him. He can be a bit of a flirt as well as touchy but it's mostly just his way of showing friendliness. He's very capable of picking up when someone is uncomfortable and he makes sure it's okay before touching anyone especially, but with those who are okay with it he's very down with casual displays of affection and can often be found linking arms, holding hands, or just leaning on his friends or classmates. He's also really kind and caring and always is willing to help someone out when they need or ask for it. He especially loves doing things like cooking for others or taking them out to eat. A lot of it stems from him watching over his siter at home a lot of the time while his parents are busy with work, but it's also just simply his nature too.

If you're a little closer to him or have simply just been around a little longer you'll still mostly get all the same traits from Hasami, but you'll see a more childish and short-tempered side to him start to peek through too. Although he was raised relatively well, he does still come from a slightly wealthier family so there's just a bit of bratty spoiledness to him. Usually he can keep that under control but in some circumstances he can be really stubborn and hold grudges or do things simply out of spite when they don't go his way or otherwise seemingly childish reasons. He can whine a lot too just because he can but this occurs more when he's tired or exhausted since when well rested he has just that little bit more rationality to know what's worth whining over and what isn't. On the positive side though, his temper can cause spikes in his drive and determination to push foward and accomplish some things so it's not entirely a negative thing.

Lastly, Hasami is also a bit of a hopeless romantic not so deep down and can get very easily distracted when there's cute boys around. Despite generally being pretty cool and confident, he's the kind of person to get really shy and nervous around people he finds attractive or just romantically appealing in general. He still tries to keep up his usual calm demeanor but if you pay close enough attention or just know him that well you'll be able to catch him slipping up and stuttering or giving off other nervous signals. Hes really not terrible at hiding it though, but later on Hasami tends to look back on and overthink those interactions and gets worked up thinking his weird behavior was a lot more noticeable than it actually was. So in summary, he's weak for cute boys and there's not really a whole lot that can help him there at this point. ꒱

↳ Hasami is someone who has a really genuine, soft smile when happy that just radiates his comfort in his surroundings. He probably scrunches his face when he chuckles too and overall is very lighthearted and goofy when in a positive mood.

↳ When sad he can become a bit more clingy with others but he's not really one to talk about his feelings. He'd rather just lay on people or be physically comforted and just sit in silence. He's not afraid to cry either but only when he knows no one around would make fun of him for it.

↳ Normally Hasami is pretty laid-back and kinda just goes with the flow. He is a little bit of a flirt as his way of being friendly but it's very casual and he won't if it makes the other person uncomfortable as mentioned above.

↳ Hasami is definitely a bit impulsive when angered. His short temper can cause him to act without thinking if you push the right buttons, however it's not difficult to catch him and make him calm down.

↳ Outside of an actual situation in which he'd feel that way Hasami thinks of himself as someone who would probably freeze and not know what to do when scared, but in reality he's quite the opposite. The adrenaline rush he gets when panicked often helps him to think of exactly the right thing to do in the situation and he can handle it rather calmly. However once done and past all the fear he should have felt and shown during the time catches up to him all at once so he might need to recover for a few minutes.

꒰ At the tips of his fingers he can protrude needles in a claw-like manner that can be used in close combat. These needles can also be cast out attached to thread that Hasami can munipulate to serve several purposes as long as it's not cut from him. On it's own the thread is extremely strong and takes a very large amount of strength to be able to break, making it really useful both in combat as well as restraint, rescue, and movement.

While still attached to his fingers, Hasami can will the thread to become razor sharp and can then use it to cut through just about anything. Also while still attached, Hasami can will the thread to have healing properties as well. It can instantly heal any non-immediately fatal wound when sewn shut with it. ꒱

Limitations/Range ‧₊˚

꒰ He's not immune to the effects of the thread himself so he must be careful when handling it in its razor state, hence also where most of the scars on his arms and hands came from before getting his hero costume, which has protection against that. He also generally prefers to only use his thread in this state on inanimate objects or in ways that only cause minor damage since he could easily cut someone into pieces and as an aspiring hero that amount of damage isn't really what you want.

The downside of using it to heal is that due to the extreme speed of healing it does leave a very prominent scar that doesn't really fade much over time. The thread also can only heal wounds to tissue and cannot repair bone, so although he could repair the tissue around it you'd still have to take measures so that the bone would heal normally. ꒱

꒰ Cat's Cradel ꒱

↳ This is used to descripe many of the nets Hasami can weave with his thread as he starts them off similar to how you'd play the game with normal thread. Most often it's used for safety nets to catch people falling or other defense and rescue purposes but there have been a few cases where he's used it to catch large objects, turning the thread to be sharp so that it cuts it into smaller pieces, thus minimizing damage/making the object a little easier to deflect for others than it would have been whole.

Status ;; Mother

Miyu loves her son to pieces and even spoils and fusses over him too much. She's one of the people who worried about Hasami becoming a hero because she doesn't want him to ruin his pretty face or fears he might be too delicate for the job. Hasami wishes she'd let go of him just a bit but he does love her a lot back.

Hasami takes after his father's pride for sure. Both are people who carry themselves confidently but with respect. He also fusses over Hasami quite a lot, though not to the extent of his wife. Overall Hasami has a decent relationship with both his parents.

Status ;; Younger Sister

Hasami treasures Ayane with all his heart. He spoils her beyond belief to the point their parents even jokingly scold him for it or complain that he loves her more than they do or he loves them. He watches over her all the time while their parents are busy with work and the two are so close that Hasami's more feminine interests are usually assumed to be influences from her. He just rolls with it though since it lets him continue to enjoy such things in peace.

Akira and Hasami have grown up in the same area since they were little and have thus attented the same schools all their lives as well. Not even the two of them how or why they became friends with how different in personality they are but it's been that way forever.

Hasami was one of the first people Aurora approached to try and talk with as the foreigner of the class. Her Japanese was really good so it was no trouble at all clicking very quickly with her. Surprisingly though Hasami seems to have latched on to her more than she has to him, as he's often found following her around and being a part of whatever shenanigans she starts.

The two aren't particularly close but Dokusei tolerates Hasami enough that they sometimes grab something to eat outside of school together and things of that nature. Hasami can be a bit nervous around him as well but it's more so because he isn't that bad looking rather than being intimidating in personality to him.

Hasami and Kenta get along really well. Hasami feels really comfortable around him and always enjoys his presence but otherwise they're not super close so their friendship is more casual than anything. Kenta might even be more friendly towards Hasami, viewing him almost as a brother.

✧˖*°࿐ Hasami was born into a relatively well off family since his parents are very well known fashion designers who make both high end clothing but are most noted for their work on stylish but still efficient hero costumes. Aside from work the two absolutely adored their son and showered him in affection every second they weren't busy with their job. So with all his necessities taken care of and being surrounded with plenty of love, Hasami lived a very comfortable life growing up.

When his quirk manifested his parents were delighted to find he could carry on the family business or name in fashion. But as his quirk began to solidify, he discovered he could do more than just potrude needles and create thread from his finger tips. Once while he was playing around with the thread he ended up cutting himself with it. At first he didn't think much of it because if you pull it the wrong way it could happen with any thread, but then it happened again when he was using it to play cat's cradel. He noticed after a while that the backs of his hands were bleeding a little and there were various small cuts on them. That was more odd since he didn't pull on the thread in a way that would have resulted in that many small injuries. After observing for a bit he realized his thread could become razor sharp if he wished it to.

That was only one of the effects he found that his thread had. The other he found out when he was playing with scissors, a bad habit he had picked up on and hasn't dropped even to this day. He managed to slip and cut his finger pretty badly, he feared being scolded by his parents for playing with scissors again though so he took it upon to try and fix it himself before his parents found out. Using his thread he carefully sewed the cut shut, and much to his surprise it immediately healed the wound. It left a bit of a nasty scar in it's place but it revealed he could use it for healing as well.

With these two properties discovered Hasami realized his quirk could be extremely useful is helping to save others. The thread itself was super strong which made it great for restraint and rescue, he could then use the sharp property it has to fight, and lastly it had the ability to heal too which of course is extremely useful for first aid.

By this point his parents also had another kid so he also had a little sister he adored and often watched over and took care of, and he had always ired heroes for their work in saving people, so with the new knowledge on his quirk he hoped to become like them and be someone who rescued others as well as someone his sister could look up to.

When he told his parents they brushed it off a bit. Not in any cruel or harsh way or anything but as super fussy parents would be they were both obviously worried about their son growing up and pursuing such a dangerous career. His mother even said she'd hate for him to hurt his pretty face if he were to get injured. She didn't fully mean it of course but she hoped making a light comment would persuade him into thinking otherwise without making her sound too fussy. But for Hasami that only made him want to do it more.

No one ever bullied Hasami for being more feminine all his life, but that didn't stop them from thinking he was fragile or weak or too pretty to get his hands dirty either. No one had ill intention by any of it, but it still really bothered him that he wasn't taken as seriously just because of his good looks.

By the time high school approached Hasami was now more set than ever to become a hero and so he applied to UA to become one. His parents still were extremely hesitant but they weren't going to stop their son for doing what he wanted to either and hoped maybe letting him go could change his mind once he sees for himself how rough it can be.

But Hasami intends otherwise. He's set on becoming a hero to show everyone he's more than just a pretty face as well as to help others and be a hero that his sister and others can look up to and be inspired by as well. ´ˎ˗
