-"Lips" or "Lip Gloss" was a satirical nickname given to Cheri by Bakugou, after he witnessed the use of her quirk and Cheri's extensive care to her lips.

- "Cherries" is a nickname from Mina, due to the fruity perfumes that Cheri uses regularly. (Mostly, cherry scented perfumes.)

- 'Butterfly' was an accidental nickname given to her by Denki, during the USJ Attack.

- This was an alias created by her mother, Mikimo. As presented, it is a pun on her first name (Cheri = Cherry), and how she is a "massive explosion of happiness" (similar to a bomb.) Later, Cheri would dedicate this nickname to one of her attacks.

- 'Kombat Kiss' was chosen as the hero name for Cheri. After hours of evaluating her hero name, she originally came up with 'Combat Kiss', due to her quirk having the ability to attack in battle. However, she decided to replace the 'C' in 'Combat' with a 'K' to represent her surname, 'Kuchibiru'.

- Since young age, Cheri desired to make Mikimo (Her mother) proud of her, and continuing the legacy of the Kuchibiru Household would be just the thing. Especially since her mother was enthusiastic about giving birth to a daughter that would sur Her.

ೃ⁀➷Normalizing Cosmetic-Based Quirks

- This may seem like a bizarre goal, but considering that her quirk is considered useless, due to it being lip gloss. Cheri wants to normalize these sort of quirks, so others do not have a hard time in the future!

She always makes sure to keep a positive attitude around her friends, so they could pick up from her and she could teach her friends how to always stay energetic. Cheri is always seen hanging around with either Midoriya, Denki, or Kirishima, because of their positive behaviour.

ೃ⁀➷ Cheri could be flirtatious at times, and has a naturally teasing nature. She usually flirts with Kamanari or individuals that she is close with. Cheri will channel this trait in battle, if she finds herself in an undesired situation or even before the battle begins.

ೃ⁀➷ Stubborn is Cheri's middle name. This trait usually shows when engaging in battle or when it comes to taking risks or challenges, Cheri will not back down from anything, no matter how hard it may be. When it comes to a debate, Cheri is also not one to mess around with, she will ALWAYS make sure to win the debate (or battle), and if she doesn't, she will say she put effort into what she did.

ೃ⁀➷ She is susceptible to being easily flabbergasted, especially when it comes to self-care or tasks. This was shown when Cheri forgot to apply lip balm to her lips the night before, or when she realized an assignment for class was due the next day.

ೃ⁀➷It is a hybrid between her father and mother's quirk.

ೃ⁀➷The can apply lip gloss on their lips, and with a movement of the lips (lip puckering, rubbing of the lips, blowing a kiss, kissing someone, etc.), the lip gloss can attack. With every gloss the possesses, several attacks or methods can be saved up onto one gloss. The maximum amount of attacks that can be saved up on a tube of lip gloss is four. It all depends on the 's adaptation to the said lip gloss and level of concentration.

ೃ⁀➷There are some glosses that can only hold up to one attack. This being said, the same attack can be used three times. ONLY if the lip gloss has ONE or TWO attacks. Otherwise, the attack cannot be used again.

꒰Quirk Drawbacks꒱

ೃ⁀➷ Each gloss can only be used three times PER hour. If used more, her lips will become dehydrated, and her hands will cramp up badly. OR her lips will swell up, making it hard for her to drink or eat anything. Also, if the 's lips are dehydrated or chapped, the quirk will not work. The quirk will not be in effect with roller-ball, tube (glosses without handles or wands), or vegan lip glosses.

꒰Quirk Attacks꒱

Cheri has about 10 glosses in her inventory currently. But, we are only going to discuss the red and pink gloss; which consists her primary attacks.

𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒔

ೃ⁀➷𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘉𝘰𝘮𝘣

-'Cherry Bomb' is a primary ability for the red gloss. When used, the gloss will conjure into a small spherical shape and explode once it comes in with the opponent. If this attack is used, it'll take up all of the gloss' uses.

ೃ⁀➷Kiss Chronicles Vol. 1

This attack contains various streaks of gloss darting at a rapid speed toward the opponent and executing a swift attack. Usually, resulting in the opponent suffering from cuts due to the force behind the streaks of gloss.

ೃ⁀➷Gloss Attack

This is a default, basic attack available in all glosses, which involves a line of gloss striking the opponent. The line of gloss can be sent in different directions and ways. (Ex: The streak of gloss can come from above, below, in a curved manner, etc. It all depends where Cheri direcgs her lip gloss handle.)

When the lips are puckered, about fifteen needles (resembling the appearance of gloss) will shower down on the opponent, and the impact will be similar to needles.

ೃ⁀➷1: Gloss Gauntlet

- This gauntlet is concealed in the fur coat of Cheri's and disguised as hand rings. It can only hold up to three glosses and serves as a tactic, whenever an opponent manages to take the belt of glosses Cheri has, so she can no longer use her quirk.

ೃ⁀➷2: Magnetic Belt

- Her "pouch" was advanced to a magnetic stylish belt, due to the pouch being easy to steal during battle. Her glosses are attached to the belt, so Cheri could have easy access to them, instead of opening a pouch and sorting sorting out which takes more time.

ೃ⁀➷3: Lip Armor

- The 'Lip Armor' aids Cheri in directing her attacks in her intended direction when applying lip gloss, and not somewhere else. It also prevent the lip gloss from smearing on the corner of her lips and mixing with other glosses.

ೃ⁀➷ Haru Kotaku is an active pro-hero of brazillian descent, that simply goes by the alias: Kotaku. (Roughly translate to 'Gloss' in Japanese.) Cheri's relationship with her father is indicated to be shallow, indicated by her father's futile attempts to her OR answer her phone-calls.

꒰Momoko Kuchibiru꒱

ೃ⁀➷Mother/35/Alive

ೃ⁀➷Momoko Kuchibiru is a popular actress world-wide and the current heiress of the Kuchibiru Household. She is considered 'ineligible' from hero work, due to being imprisoned for reasons unknown. Although Cheri can only speak to her mother once a month, they are inseparable, even considering the circumstances Momoko is in. Cheri makes it her duty to honor her mother, and stick with her. Even in the toughest situations.

꒰Best Friend꒱

ೃ⁀➷Ona Hanashiro

- Cheri was introduced to Ona in middle school, following the showcase of Cheri's quirk. Witnessing her quirk, Ona ultimately decided to befriend Cheri, due to her quirk having the "potential" to excel in the near future. Subsequently, the pair bonded together through the same likes, favors, and hobbies. Currently, Cheri still has a close bond with Ona, although Ona was enrolled into Class 1-B.

ೃ⁀➷Kohyo Togakami

- Kohyo is more of a 'frenemy' to Cheri then an actual friend, considering the circumstances when they first met. What led up to Cheri and Kohyo's meeting was the latter starting a rumor, stating that she made out with all of the male students and rated them on a scoreboard. Following the interaction came a slightly hostile tension and a bizarre "friendship", which still continues to present.

꒰Early Childhood(0-12꒱

ೃ⁀➷ Cheri was a planned pregnancy by both Momoko Kuchibiru and Haru Kotaku. During this time, both Haru and Mikimo were a hot topic in the media, being labeled as the 'power couple'. Momoko Kuchibiru was recently crowned as the new 'Heiress to the Kuchibiru Household', and worked as a pro-hero, along with being an actress. Kotaku was recognized for his 'unique' strategy and use of the gloss substance, along with him being of brazilian descent. Once Cheri was born, that's what nearly BROKE the news and media. Nearly being raised in fame and throughout the ages of 0-7, Cheri always followed her mother everywhere. To movie sets, interviews, etc. Observing her rehearsals, watching her train, and watching her apply makeup.

When Cheri was four, she decided to play around with Momoko's make up on one of her movie sets. As soon as she started to apply lip gloss, a line of gloss suddenly darted from her lips to a vase, it shattering due to the force. That's how Cheri discovered her potential quirk, Lip Gloss.

To the age of 12, Cheri was constantly working on her quirk, with the assistance of her mother, and met a friend along the way, by the name of Yami Genkioka. Although he was more on the pessimistic side, Cheri still managed to get along with him. The two did everything together, while trying to avoid the cameras. However, the friendship was placed to an end when Yami suddenly disappeared, leaving behind a letter stating that he will come back. Cheri still writes letters to Yami, in hopes he will return to her one day.

Nothing else could happen, right? Wrong. Ultimately, due to a deal gone wrong (involving Kotaku), Momoko was incarcerated and taken into custody, leaving Cheri without any guardians at the time.

꒰Teen Years(13-18꒱

ೃ⁀➷ After watching her mother being taken into custody and the event being widespread across the media, Cheri felt almost responsible. Feeling as if she didn't do enough to help her mother. Kotaku was still nowhere in sight when this entire ordeal was occurring. But, he did aid in asg a guardian for Cheri. (Something Momoko had absolutely had no say in.) The guardian was Nise Mimato, a licensed therapist and grocery store employee.

It took some time for Cheri to adapt to having another guardian watching her, but currently, Cheri and Nise almost have a sister-like relationship. At 13, Cheri was enrolled into middle school, where she was already known by appearance and status, gaining some popularity. Meeting Alec, Ona, Juri, and others. However, some students responded negatively, namely Kohyo Togakami, another student of the High Class Status. This resulted in rumors around the school and increased difficulty in continuing middle school.

During the final year of middle school, Cheri decided to fill out an application for U.A (Yuuei) High School, so she could advance to becoming a hero and future heiress of the Kuchibiru Household. Although Momoko desired for her to attend Shiketsu High, Cheri felt that U.A fit her preferences better than Shiketsu.

Nise gave U.A's letter over to Cheri, during one of their sessions together.

"Cheri Kuchibiru was accepted into U.A High School!"

And so, Cheri's journey to her future began. Things were starting to look up for Cheri, and the Kuchibiru Household in general.
