Vedas. He's prominently

mentioned in creation leg-

ends, tough there are many

varying versions. In some

Puranas, he created himself

(being a first living mortal)

in a golden egg known as

Hiranyagarbha. His symbols

were: lotus flower, the Vedas,

japamala and kamandalu
