from greek mythology for

                                cerberus is hades’s guard

                                 dog for the underworld. his

                                 job is to prevent those who

                                 enter the underworld, dead

                                 or alive, from leaving.

         cerberus’s name does not

         actually means spot in the

         greek translation, but is

          more likely to be meaning

          black wolfhound or hound

          of the earth. the reason that

         many had suggested spot

         on the internet is because

         of sanskrit words that are

         similar that mean spot,

          however linguists agree that

         it is incredibly unlikely some

         suggest growling thing from

         the PIE root *gher but this is

         doubted as well. if you would
