Nyja stood ankle-deep in the water. She was surrounded by the sound of the waves, the sweet sounds of the sea, and the sea smell just above the water. She went even deeper, in a black dress, with tied hair.
Suddenly she turned to you.
Well, hello little soul. I'm glad that you want to hear another story from me. Did you miss me?
Of course you did!
For several days I wasn't active when it came to amino, but fortunately nothing has changed.
(Wrong broke the phone, it's all her fault)
Oh hey? Do you also have a lot of creative ideas ... new views on the world ... important suspicions about the future ... beautiful statements for the love of your life - at night?
No?
Me neither. -she loughed-
But I have weird thoughts then. Like:
Why does Ares exist if we have Athena?
Have you ever wondered how the straws feel?
Why am I so perfect?
Do you have a moment to talk about god?
Why does Nyja exist if Marzanna is the goddess of winter and death?
What was the beginning?
Oh. Actually. Its a good question.

At the beginning there was only the endless sea. Świętowit was circling over this abyss in the form of a swan. Loneliness bothered him, so when he saw his shadow on the water, he decided to separate him from himself. This is how Perun, who lived the world above the sea (on the boat), and Weles swimming in the great ocean were born. However, they were also bored with this empty world. They came to the conclusion that if they cooperated, they would be able to create a land.
I have no idea how but they decided that they have to pick up sand from the ocean floor. Or rather, Weles have to. Because Perun didn't want to get wet.
Seriously. How can you be called "good" or "righteous" if the person next to you has to do all of dirty work? - Nyja said sighing. She rubbed her cold hands and continued -
But let it not be that Perun didn't help at all, let me remind you that he ordered Wales to say the spell ("With the power of Perun and mine") to be able to swim to the bottom.

It wasn't until the third time Wales had spoken those words correctly that he was able to pull the sand above the surface of the water, having previously hidden a little in his mouth.
Why was it only the third time it worked? Well, Weles wanted to have the land all to himself, so when he said the spell, he only said "With my power" for the first two times.
When God delivered the sand Perun threw sand on the surface of the water, and this began to grow. Veles choked on the sand in his mouth and spat it out. This is how mountains were created.
The land created was small, so Weles again decided not to share the land with his brother and take everything for himself. When tired Perun fell asleep, Weles decided to push his brother into the sea.
Because it's called brotherhood.
He took him in his arms, and as soon as he began to approach the shore, the land began to grow at an alarming rate.
If Weles couldn't get to the sea in front of him, he tried to do it on the shore behind him. When he failed, he began to weigh Perun to the shore on the right side of the world. Then in the opposite direction. Weles was furious that he couldn't kill his brother that way. Then Perun woke up and laughing at the god's awkwardness explained that he expected an attempt to kill him, so he put on a self-imposed protective charm, and Weles just helped him create four parts of the world. This is how the land we know came about.

But the brothers were arguing about who should control the world. Then the Świętowit appeared again (hey where were you before men?) and divided the world among them righteously. Perun was given heaven and earth and Weles ruled over Naive, otherwise, the underworld.
So now you are enlightened. Our planet is not a huge, psochopathic goddess having titan children with the sky, or it was not created by Ginnungagap, the dark void, Chaos... or anything else.
It's all because of Świętowit. And his loneliness. - she said pensive, staring at the waves.
