Hello! As many of you may know our Amino as well as many others have been under the attack of bots lately. These attacks can lead to spamming suspicious links and other unsavory consequences if anyone were to access these links

What is a bot?

A bot is a series of programs that can be made to do specific overall bad actions, such as spamming links, gathering private information, and can even steal sensitive information such as your name and phone location. They are not real people yet some are programmed to hold conversations to trick people. Bots can be most regularly found on social websites such as Amino and Instagram. to never click on unknown links and educate yourself on internet safety! We have a helpful website down below to help you.

What will happen now?

The leadership team has been working hard on this issue these past few weeks, and we have decided in order to stop the constant spam we will be temporarily closing Mythical Creatures and Beasts, and only allow those in who request access. This way we can hopefully stop the bots altogether in the future.

McaB will still be open to anyone and everyone that requests access, and will still be publicly seen by anyone who searches up fantasy aminos. Nothing will change other than deterring the spammers!
