Today is the Chinese New Year, so happy Chinese New Year to everyone who celebrates it! This year in particular is the year of the Tiger (or the water tiger to be more precise). Due to it being the Chinese New Year, I wanted to do a question based off Chinese mythology. So,
What is you favourite Chinese myth?
For me, it is the myth of Hou Yi and Chang’e. A summary of the myth can be found here. The main version of the myth has a more bittersweet ending which is not too common.
Is there a Chinese myth you like a lot to the point it is your favourite? If so, say what it is in the comments.
And again,
Happy Chinese New Year!

Any love myth is my favorite
The Four Perils which includes the Hundun, Qiongqi, Taowu, and Taotie. The Taotie became the most popular creature thanks to The Great Wall film made in 2016. Hundun is my favorite though because it’s literally a blob with wings and limbs.
Altair and Vega.
