Would Baldur count as a solar deity?
Technically, he is not, because we have Sól/Sunna as the Norse Goddess of the Sun (and her name was where the word “Sun” is from).
Well, I am not really familiar with Norse Mythology, yet based on my interpretation of the sources I find, even though Baldur is considered as Apollo’s Norse equivalent (since Apollo is the God of Light), he is more like a personification of light and somehow, Summer (based on what I know about his death and the stuff afterwards). Unlike his Greco-Roman counterpart, he was not worshipped as a Solar Deity, thus we can’t consider him as a Sun God.

I'm confused, do I have to be the nick fury and make a team of sun gods or a sun god be the nick fury and make a team?
They are saying for you to assume the role of Nick fury when he was deciding who the of the avengers would be. Meaning, you will have the role in choosing which sun gods/goddesses will be in your version of a superhero team.
