Hello everyone! One of your three proud leaders of Nascar Amino, Tanor Campos, here and welcome to the triumphant return of This Race on NA! This series has been on hiatus ever since 2022, and today's special installment of This Race will return at the same place where the most recent RTR blog took center stage in Talladega, Alabama as the newest one will revisit a race that defined a season. The 1994 Winston Select 500 at Talladega Superspeedway showcased the two championship protagonists that went head to head throughout the race, but ultimately, Dale Earnhardt was able to get the upper hand on Erine Irvan and score the victory in AL. With that being said, I hope y'all enjoy the return installment of This Race involving the 1994 Winston Select 500 at Talladega and if you wish to keep up with any of my latest blogs on Nascar Amino then please consider ing my public blogging chatroom with any of my latest content on NA!

My Thoughts On This Race

This race at Talladega Superspeedway really established the main championship protagonists for the 1994 Nascar Cup Series season as Dale Earnhardt and Erine Irvan put on a clinic against the rest of the field that had no answers for the plate track masters. The action was intense from start to finish as everyone was able to make some noise throughout the race, and while several accidents took out a few possible contenders, it didn't stop the rest of the field from challenging for the race win in Talladega, Alabama. While this race will always get overshadowed by the events that occurred in different racing series, it did help everyone something positive to enjoy while blocking off the loss of Ayrton Senna earlier in the day.

The early 90s at Talladega were without a doubt Dale’s house and this race was no exception. Even on one of the saddest days in racing history Dale still gave it his all to win at one of his best tracks. I’ve never watched this race before but I’ll definitely check it out soon! I’m glad to see the return of This Race and I can’t wait to see what other races you’ll look back on Tanor! And it’s pretty cool to see two throwback races featured today on NA!
