One of your three proud leaders of Nascar Amino, Tanor Campos, here and welcome to the triumphant return episode of The Paint Scheme That Never Raced series, which takes a look at certain paint schemes that never made it onto the racetrack! This series has been on hiatus ever since 2022, and today's special installment of this series will usher the return of so many different blogging series I created in the past, but with this year being my return to full-time blogging on Nascar Amino I plan to let y'all provide any suggestions with any of my series that can range from topics within Nascar or something related to FFAF. The 2014 Nascar Cup Series season was the beginning of a new era at Michael Waltrip Racing as Brian Vickers ed the team as a full-time competitor after sharing part-time duties with multiple drivers for 2 seasons. Michael Waltrip Racing revamped the entire 55 team from the driver, crew chief, and the design of the racecar that featured a complete revamp to usher the new era with Brian Vickers behind the wheel of the 55. Unfortunately, the design was scrapped during the off-season as Aaron's requested Michael Waltrip Racing to change the paint scheme to something better to represent the brand out on the racetrack. The new design didn't bring any good fortunes to Brian Vickers during the 2014 Nascar Cup Series season as the 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota struggled massively throughout the year that unfortunately left him with 22nd place finish in the point standings.
