What is Amino?

I thought as we are getting quite a few and many of which are new to Amino I thought I would make a little blog about the app and the things you can do. Hopefully this will help you guys.

Amino is an app that consists of different communities dedicated to different interests like TV shows, favourite musicians and bands or other interests like cooking or food. There are many more communities based on different things that would love for you to .

In communities like this one all can create content dedicated to the topic of their community for example our one is for New Hope Club which means you can post anything relating to them.

Within these communities you are able to create blogs, polls and quizzes for other to see and take part with also the opportunity of getting your post featured however I’ll explain more about how to get featured in another blog.

I think this is one of the simplest things you can do however it does take awhile getting used to how to do it best and linking pictures and YouTube videos.

Today I’ll go over the basics but I will make a wiki or another blog and go into more details about the interesting cool things you can include.

First you click the plus sign that’s at the bottom of ur screen in the middle as soon as you click the community.

It will then take you to something that looks like this.

As you can see it says blog you click that and it will take you to this page.

Now here’s the bit it gets a little complicated but once you get used to it, it’s not so bad.

Now ur free to title your blog and write what you want. If you would like to embed pictures within what you writing about this and YouTube links I’ll make a separate blog explaining that.

Now when you write your blog of you click the screen this will show up.

It gives you different options kind of like in word documents on how you want your writing in your blog to be shown. Once you click one of those options a letter will appear to the left of your screen like this.

The letter stays in its box and if you accidentally delete it all you do is type it back in and put it between those brackets.

Sorry for the long blog but it’s nearly over the last thing I want to show you is how to preview your blog before submitting/ posting it this allows you to see what your blog is going to look like and if it’s perfect before you post it.

Now at the top of the screen next to the submit button there’s a little eye icon which I’ll show below.

It will then take you to the preview page that shows you how your blog is going to look like and once your happy with that your blog is ready to post.

This was a bit of a long blog and hopefully i managed to explain everything enough so you all understand.

There will be a couple more blogs going into more detail about adding pictures to blogs how to edit them and add titles and include YouTube links to videos.

Also some more blogs about making quizzes and polls for other to participate in.
