Could the SNES Classic Edition console become a reality? A man named Jonathan Holmes (Employee at Destructoid.com) has recently ed 3 upper store managers and asked them if they have heard anything from Nintendo about the SNES Classic. All 3 upper store managers said that Nintendo informed them that SNES Classic is in development but they were not given a realese date for the system. One of them speculated it will drop at around holiday season. All stores Jonathan ed were an hour apart (including one from out of state.)
You might be wondering, "What does this have to do with the Switch." Actually it could be very important to the success of the Switch. The SNES Classic will get people in the Nintendo section of a store. This will let Nintendo do use it as a marketing tool.

Honestly I'd rather have the Virtual Console hit the Switch than effort dumped into this.
I kind of feel you are taking it a bit far with it helping out the Switch. The NES Classic did that, it would be a waste of resources and probably less profit if they do.
Give us instead Virtual Console and updated black SNES bluetooth controllers!
