I apologize for going several weeks without a weekend challenge. I haven't been very active as of late, and I apologize-

This weekend's AU is more of a prompt, but could be taken as an AU too as it applies to all characters. If you're unfamiliar with the weekend challenges or it's rules, I suggest you check out this post

When someone dies, their souls are brought to the middle world where they will consult with a goddess named Esra to determine how they will proceed with things. There, Esra will tell you how you died and give you options as to what you are able to do. You are given a choice to be reborn in your own world and start again at life with no memories of your past, or you may be transferred to another world with the memories of your life in your own world. In that world you are tasked with defeating an evil king, but to get there you must face many hardships. Some will never defeat the king and will simply live in that world until they die and the process starts again. If you defeat the king, you will be rewarded with great things and will be able to chose how you live your life, and how you get to chose your path when you die again.

In this challenge, we would like to see you take a cannon character and place them into that situation. How do they react to being told all of this? What will they chose, and why? What will they live their new life like as a different person with no past memories? OC's will not be accepted as it takes away from a part of the theme.

An example of a writing entry would be:

After Paragon dies he is brought to Esra. He decides to be reborn in his own world, and picks a few details about that life. When he is reborn, he has no memories of his past life. Paragon is now Jacob Athenes, living within the protection of a respected soldier. What will Jacob's new life be like?

Of course things like a Roleplay log and fanart will still be accepted~
