Art Challenge Winner!

Well done to all who entered our Art Challenge for Halloween. You all drew some fantastic drawings.

It's my pleasure to announce our All Hallows Winner but before I do, I'd just like to give a few words for each contestant. ^^

Mari -

A sweet Enri witch. Your use of colour was lovely. Her expression is soft and gentle, nicely done. You chose rather difficult utensils and even though it did made your outline a little less tidy. It gives a different texture to your art and shows you are trying to develop new skills. Your drawing is, fun, cute and bright!

Leone -

A modern Demiurge, trendy. Doing a half digital and half hand drawn sketch was clever. The background contrasts well with your lovely pen art. Look like show lighting.The shading was a little rough but your proportions were good and I like the details you put on his facial structure and body. Those abs are popping and his face is chiseled. A bold and stylish drawing!

Birk -

The idea of a giant pumpkin was fun and creative, not to mention well drawn. Again shading in pen is not easy and can come out a little rough but I think you minimised that roughness and included some good details. Like the shading on the witch's hat and how it sits on her head, whilst giving room for her horns. I also like that you seem to have put your own twist on the drawing style, not many young artists have their own drawing style when it comes to drawings of people and it's often easier to draw a pre-existing style. So very welldone. Your drawing is original and has the spook factor!

Sebas Tian -

Doing a drawing all in one colour is tough and so is trying create a sense of shape and highlighting with only one utensil. You however did exactly that and it looks great. The way you went over certain parts to create shaded look and left certain areas white for a highlight effect was really good. Using a thinner pen may help with getting the finer details but still, welldone! An Icey Cool Sketch!
