a small blue desk fan sat under a tree, mad that her team had lost once more due to their dumb rule of letting no deaths occur, which she hated! Because they absolutely sucked at it and were loosing challenge and after challenge doing so, which she also hated! Fanny was her name, she was known to hate everybody and maybe even everything! Why was she like this? She thought, why was she made this way? What went wrong? So many questions and not enough answers.
Fanny was all by herself for now, she thought maybe it would be a good use of her time to think back, back before the competition, back before all of this hate she had for everyone, She only ever got snippets of the 'before' times during times of emotional distress, but now she had so much time on her non-existent hands that she may as well use it, and so fanny did just that, leaning back against the overgrown oak tree, she closed her eyes, and started to think....
CHAPTER 1
FAN IN A VAN
Today wasn't exactly a good time to go out, especially in of the weather.
It was practically midnight, a yellow fuzzy ball known as Tennis Ball, or TB as some called him, was outside rummaging through the national junkyard of goiky where scrap and metallic things went to rot. The rain did not help TBs vision as he pushed some metal scrap and wires off of some rusted van, the letters on the side reading
[FR E S ART V N]
Some letters once on the van had been so rusted over that they've since become unreadable, only leaving some to be seen, But besides that and the rusty pink & white paint job, the van wasn't in that bad of a condition, infact Tennis ball could probably get this thing repaired and finally have a reliable source of transpor- Tennis Balls train of thought was cut off when he noticed something through the driver side window, a...desk fan? It laid there in the driver's seat, it's dull blades spinning slowly, it caught TBs eye because of its nice looking blue chassis, or casing for a more simple word, as it was in nearly perfect condition, not something you see everyday in a junk yard!
Tennis Balls mind started thinking, he had come here to find something to bring back home, something to work on when not competing or inventing scientific breakthroughs with Golf Ball, so maybe he could take this simple table top fan and do something with it! Tennis ball spent the next few minutes looking around for a way to get the rusty van door opened, eventually he'd find the solution by taking a heavy rock and just chucking it with his foot at the window, The glass shattered into a million little itty bitty pieces all over the seat, the Vans somehow-still-functioning alarm started blaring throughout the night sky as Tennis ball had to get the Table top fan and book it out of there through a nearby hole in the chain fencing, Running into the dark woods with the Desk fan balancing on top of him, the sounds of the alarm getting further and further away, growing quieter.
