VI | The Lovers

This dude’s Kalem. He works for an NPC the party have a… distrustful relationship with. Rightfully so bc that dude was 100% aware of the assassins hiding in his backyard to ambush the party but y’know, the party don’t know that for sure :)

But yeah- Kalem himself is a scout of sorts. Was a soldier, but left all that behind a long time ago. He’s a “Paladin against his wishes” now, so make of that what you will :sparkles:

The card itself has a lot of campaign-related symbolism in it, and was a lot of fun to design!

XV | The Devil

Ah my favourite shameless degenerate NPC, Rurik. This guy has shown up once, picked a petty fight with the party’s barbarian for fun (he got absolute beaten to the brink of death and loved it, freak), and then left. They’ve not seen him since.

He’s a drunk monk with a hint of panther lycanthropy going on. Has a surprising amount of self control at times, but then absolutely none at others. Love him.

The card’s a lot more literal than the Lovers one. Man’s got plenty of vices and indulges in them daily; enjoys drinking, violence, and just about anything else in excess. A complete adrenaline junkie.
