All music ceases to exists. Music was lost in time, yet to nine girls it still plays a huge part in their lives. They meet together to bring back the life in ways they would never imagine. They together to find happiness and friendship in the world where music is forbidden...

In this utopian world, love, happiness and joy was all around, yet the only way they could comfort each other was through words and smiles. Music was probihited. It was outlawed a long while ago by some rulers back in the dystopian era though no one knows why. A group of 9 princesses in this utopian society, however, would bring back the music and liveliness forever...... and this project was named "everlasting tunes".

Momo awokened to a peaceful dove who dropped a letter by her bedside table. She picked it up and looked at the title : Formal Charity Event for Princesses of the Nine Kingdoms. We formally invite you to hand food out at the Central Market tomorrow, Princess Momo of the Ethereal Kingdom, Princess Jeongyeon of the Ice Kingdom, Princess Mina of the Ethereal Kingdom, Princess Tzuyu of the Summer Kingdom, Princess Chaeyoung of the Laughter Kingdom, Princess Jihyo of the Love Kingdom, Princess Nayeon of the Bunny Kingdom, Princess Sana of the Helpful Kingdom, and Princess Dahyun of the Kind Kingdom. With that, momo was wide awake. She suppressed a grin as she looked at the beautiful golden letter. She was rarely able to meet up openly with her friends due to their high status and power and meeting them for a charity prohect was a blessing in disguise! While picking out a dress from the dozens she had laid out in front of her, she mindlessly hummed a tune, yet shut herself up before she could get caught.

She did not know how things would change soon, however.

While giving out treats and drinks to their beloved citizens at the event as the representitives of each of their blissful kingdoms, Princess Momo, suddenly suggested that she had been listening to some western pop but quickly shut her mouth after that as she knew music was probihited. Her clumsy nature always seemed to get into the way! She blushed the shade of a tomato and decided to keep quiet in front of the citizens. But, her love for that music could not seem to fade away and she could not control her mouth at suggesting what wonder and miracles music, but now in the form of korean words that they could understand,would bring about right after the event's ending.

Instead of the awkward silence that would ensue at a normal royal dinner due to their parent's presence, they immediately put their heads together to plan for this project which they knew would change the nine kingdoms to a happier place. Friendship started to blossom as they had secret meetings in tall libraries, where they had a great view of the sea, which they could easily take inspiration from. At times when trying to piece together their music, they fell apart but peacemaker, Princess Nayeon, would always step in to make the mood cheery and lively once again.

Not long after that, their project : everlasting tunes was completed. The hours of sitting down and labouring over which music suit which tempo and rhythm were finally going to bear its fruits! They decided to reveal it to their respective kingdoms at the same time on the next day.

It was soon nightfall and each of the girls tossed and turned in their royal cushy beds, each of them unable to sleep a wink, not knowing what the next day would bring as they reveal this grand masterpiece of a project they had been working on for years.

"Caww.." A bird's distinct happy chirp reverberated around the nine palaces as they all woke up feeling energised, happy and refreshed. They quickly called each other and decided to reveal it together at 12pm. With trepidation, they set off to munch on their sumptuous morning breakfast with their citizens, chuckling silently under their breath at the citizens' oblivion of what a big surprise was going to befall them.

The golden clock overlooking the nine beautiful towers struck twelve at the same time and the hardworking music composers each took a step onto the stage in front of their blissful citizens, took a deep breath and annnounced : "OUR PROJECT : THE EVERLASTING TUNES! WE WANT TO BREATHE MUSIC INTO THIS WORLD AND MAKE AS LIVELY AS IT CAN BE. WE WANT TO BE GOOD RULERS AND WE WANT TO INSTILL THE JOY AND PEACE OF MUSIC INTO YOU. WILL YOU OUR JOURNEY?"

The crowd stood up in disbelief at first, and the whole crowd was silent. Just when the princesses' face were about to fall, loud claps and cheering emanated from every corner, everyone cheering for their brilliant idea and chanting, " EVERLASTING TUNES! EVERLASTING GOOD MUSIC! ALL HAIL THE NINE PRINCESSES!"
