What is Role Playing (Rping)?

Playing a role on a non written story, an improvisation with other people.

Ok so here i'll help ppl who are beginners at role playing tips on wat to do so u (or other who u'd like to role play with) don't get lost. Role Playing is very simple and fun! This post is for those ppl who what's to roleplay but don't really know what to do. So here's some help.

:rose: How do you roleplay :rose:

#1: When in character write between " " wat ur character is saying and when ur character is thinking write the thoughts between ( )

For eg: "today is a beautiful day"

#2: When out of character write OC: and watever it is u want to say or use the brackets )), //

#3: To say when ur character is write it in [ ] OR use the name of your character

For eg: kylie: "the sky is full of clouds" I said looking up at the sky

#4:When ur character is preforming an action write wat he/she is doing between * * you don't have to use this " " for the speech

For eg: Kylie: *look outside the window at the clear sky* Today is a bright sunny day

:rose: Here's everything after its puts together :rose:

[in a castle]

What a beautiful day *walking around in the garden* (I wonder if something exciting is going to happen today) OC: see how it works?

I walk up from my sleep and look outside my window "wow, the sky is clear today. What a beautiful morning sight" (hope the whole day if full of happiness today) //I'm sure how you probably know how to roleplay//

:rose: Methods of Role Play :rose:

When you are just learning how to role play, and what role playing is, you need to learn what you are best at doing. There are (in my opinion) three ways to role play.

:cherry_blossom: The Third Person method: When using this method, you are telling the story of your character one action at a time from a third person point of view.

Example: Cody walked through the hall, and into the dorm room.

:cherry_blossom: The First Person method: The hardest method to use correctly, you tell your story from a first person point of view. It is suggested to point out what the character you are using is in parentheses before the actual RP.

Example: (Cody) I walked through the hall, and into the dorm room.

:cherry_blossom: The Narrative method: The Narrative method sticks to the main guidelines, though using many details to describe your character from the third person point of view.

Example: Cody, sneaking through the halls at night, crept into the dorm room without a sound.
