It was a scorching hot day in the south of Mexico. A team of paleontologist researchers were down digging and exploring for fossils in the sand. They had come across an abandoned battle campsite and decided to investigate, thinking that they might find some interesting bones and objects in the ground.

The team had been digging in the sand for fossils for hours. They surprisingly didn’t find as much as they were expecting, and morale was starting to dwindle. The sun baked their skin, and the sand stuck to their sweat. The team's leader was about to call it quits for the day.

As they were carefully sweeping away the sand and debris with brushes and shovels, 1 of the team , who was a young man with sharp eyes, spotted an unusual glimmer in the sand, which made him let out a cry of surprise. He had uncovered something shiny and red buried in the sand, and he called out to the team leader.

The team leader was a 26 year old man with a PhD in Paleontology, Doctor Fritz Smith. He was American, pretty chubby, and has ginger hair. His attention was immediately caught by the team member, and everyone hurried over to see what the man had found. Whatever he found wasnt completely uncovered yet, so Fritz assisted and dug carefully, both of them brushing the sand away slowly with their hands until a gleaming red crystal was revealed.

Fritz slowly picked up the red pendant, examining it closely, turning it over in his gloved hand. It was more magnificent than any crystal he had ever seen, with intricate patterns etched onto the surface. As he held it, he felt a strange energy emanating from it, as if it held some kind of power.

His team watched him curiously, waiting for him to identify it. Fritz was a researcher, and his area of expertise was fossils, not ancient artifacts. But something about this pendant intrigued him, and he couldn't let it go. He could not describe it and didn't mention it out loud, but it definitely made his fascination and curiosity grow.

He decided to take it back to camp to study it further. He called it break time for everyone since it has been an exhausting day. As they allwalked back, Fritz noticed that the pendant seemed to pulse with a slight, rhythmic glow. He couldn't help but wonder what secrets it held.

Once they arrived back at camp, Fritz immediately set to work examining the pendant. He took off his gloves and gingerly placed it under a microscope and was surprised by what he saw. The patterns etched onto the pendant seemed almost alive, swirling around and changing shape. It was magnificent and strange.

Suddenly, the glow intensified, making Fritz startled and back away from the pendant and his equipment. A blinding light erupted from the pendant, filling the small tent with warmth. When Fritz opened his eyes again, he saw a figure standing before him. It looked human, but something about it's design make it seem less so. Maybe it was the clothing. Maybe it was deep, agitated breathing. Maybe it was the stiff stance where he occasionally twitched his fingers and head. Maybe it was the angry confusion on its face.

There before him stood a 6 foot tall and scrawny man with a bald head and partially armored red clothes. He radianted a glow like the pendant for a moment before the glow died down and stopped. It felt like it towered over the doctor, since Fritz stumbled backwards and landed on his butt.

There was a long awkward and scary silence between the 2 of them and the mysterious man glares daggers at Fritz. He was unsure what to say or do. So many thoughts and questions ran through Fritz's head. Who is this person? WHAT is this person? What just happened? Why did this happen? How did this happen? What made it do all this? WHAT IS GOING ON?

Fritz cleared his throat and chuckled, breaking the silence from his previous speechlessness. "Hey there...!" He spoke.

It remained silent. Fritz could feel his heart pounding in his chest from the anxiety. His eyes briefly glance around as if looking for something, then back at the figure. "We come in peace..."

It still stayed silent, continuing its stare at the doctor. Fritz gulped, almost choking on his saliva due to his tension. "...I'm Fritz...Uh, may I ask your name?"

There was still silence. However, it wasn't a long silence this time. The figure took its turn and spoke. "My name is Mike...And giving names are stupid...Soon, you won't even need yours, and peace is not a desirable position for me..."
