Introduction Post Icebreaker Challenge

Hello everyone!

I’m new to OCs Amino and heard of it through a good friend of mine (ty again for the recommendation @CryssyCrys!). The amino looks super fun so far, I’ve seen a lot of amazing artwork already, you all are so talented :heart: With that being said, let me introduce myself! Here is my #IceBreakerChallenge :D

My name is Leo Gabrielle! Nickname wise, you may call me be either Leo or Gabby. I’m fine with either one. I am genderfluid, mainly go by they/them pronouns (Occasionally they change! I’ll always keep them up-to-date in my short bio), and I am a digital artist ^^ I specifically do illustrations of characters and/or content creators I like or original characters. I love character deg and the painting process (specifically shading and lighting), but don’t like drawing backgrounds, mainly due to how inexperienced I am at doing them lol

I have many OCs, however I use none of them and rarely ever draw them. To the point where I can barely any of them at the top of my head at the moment-

BUT

I do have an avatar that is pretty much an OC. Their name is Leo and they’re a pointed eared person with artificial cat ears and a tail. The cat ears are meant to sharpen their hearing and the tail- well, to be honest it has no purpose, it just looks nice with the ears! Since they are my avatar, they naturally represent me the best out of all my OCs. Personality wise they’re everything I wish to be: confident, social, funny, easygoing, chill, and mature. They rarely take anything seriously, always turning every small step in life into an opportunity to have as much fun as possible, but they know for the most part when to take something seriously. They’re super ive of their friends, loves spreading as much love as they can, and tries their best to not let others define who they are and who they should be. They’re also adorable! :3

I know the challenge questions didn’t ask for this, but I feel as though it would be best if rather than just saying my artstyle and what I do that I instead show some examples of my works. Here are some pieces I’ve done that I feel very proud of:

As you’ve probably noticed my artstyle isn’t exactly… consistent. Despite that though I always find drawing and painting to be super fun. Sometimes stressful, other times nauseating, but still always enjoyable^^

I look forward to my stay here on OCs Amino and meeting everyone. I will say I’m not an active Amino so I may not be around as often as you all may wish, but I’ll still be sure to share some sketches with you all every so often.
