Argo is a spacefaring hero. Her real identity is Tarani Nakhe (pronounced Tah-rah-nee Nah-kay), a female Rakapi who works as an engineer for the Galaxy Federation.

Also, the Rakapi were furry humanoids from the planet Raka. Their fur is usually black, but can also be found in red, grey, dark blue, etc.... They once had a large empire, but now command only a few planets. Others in the galaxy look down on the Rakapi.

She was born around the time of the Rakapi Rebellion, when the Rakapi tried to hold an important sector of the galaxy for ransom. The invasion was put down before it began, thanks to another character, but that's a whole other entry.

Tarani grew up in a time when others especially disliked the Rakapi. Instead of turning this into an excuse for 'revenge,' Tarani used it to show that not all Rakapi, or other unpopular peoples in the Galaxy were bad.

After she ed the Galaxy Federation, Tarani was stationed on the Krex, a pm Explorer's Corps ship.

The Explorer'S Corps was a branch of the GF that explored planets and space, collected things for scientists to study, and if needed, fight threats.

Tarani had few jobs that required engineering knowledge, and was ordered odd jobs.

After an encounter on one planet with an old, unused set of gadgets, Tarani secretly took them back onboard, and became Argo.
