Hello all, I am going to be sharing some pictures of my altar to my matron deity - Hestia.

Hestia has been a part of my witchcraft journey for quite a few years now. She was the very first deity that reached out to me and is the one who has guided my path through hearth magick, kitchen magick, and just general home practices and spells. She has been a consistent force I have worked with, and in turn, I worship her devoutly.

I have recently been able to procure her an individual altar that I have placed right next to my fireplace (with fire safety in mind) and I will be sharing some pictures of where it is at now.

Firstly, the deity herself. This is my Hestia statue. It was the first deity statue I ever bought. Next to her, I place garnet, carnelian, and mahogany obsidian.

Here is a bit more of a zoomed out picture of the altar. As you can see, the altar cloth does not drape on the side facing the fireplace, and the table legs are metal. Always practice fire safety!

In this picture, you can see the two drawings i have put up for her. On the bottom right is a coloring page I dedicated to her, full of crystal like shapes colored with red, oranges, and gold. Then, at the top, I made a Google drawing sheet with some more symbols. Hanging up pictures with symbols is a great way to imbue the space with that deity's energy without cluttering the actual table top.

There are several things in this picture. Firstly, a red candle I carved and dressed specifically for Hestia. I do this about once every two weeks. In the back picture frame is a Homeric hymn dedicated to Hestia. There is also a cast iron offering plate, fire oil, and cedarwood incense behind the frame.

Lastly, her tall glass water goblet (which I clearly need to refill) I got at a thrift store. A mulled wine scented candle which I used the golden lid to write the dedication to. Finally, there are a bunch of house keys to represent her dominion in the home.

This altar is a few years in the making. Slowly gathering meaningful items to represent and honor my matron and bring her energy into my home. Almost all of the items are handmade or thrifted, too!

This also helps create a focal point, and when in conversation with Hestia, typically through the pendulum, I get very strong answers.

If you have any questions about the altar, deity work, or specifically Hestia please let me know!

Thank you, and blessed be witches :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:
