ABBA on a new Voyage.

A few years ago, I reported that ABBA was back and they were recording again.

It's taken a few years but what I reported back then was true.

ABBA is truly back!!!!!!!!!

ABBA has completed their new album, the first the Swedish supergroup have released in forty years!

Many Pride events and films have used ABBA's music over recent decades.

To give you an idea of how popular ABBA is, I went to check out how to get their latest album, 'Voyage' and was flabbergasted.

Many of the options are already sold out, even though the album is still on pre-order, as it's being released in early November.

I really would have loved to have gotten the Deluxe Box but as you can see, it sold out.

The standard CD release is still available, as well as the Digital-only release.

I was going to settle for the CD, as it would give me pretty good quality sound.

Due to lockdown, I was afraid I might not be able to collect my CD when it gets released, so I ended up buying the Digital version.

It will be sent as mp3, which I am half disappointed in, as it is lower quality than what you get on a physical disc.

I still look forward to playing those tracks and hearing what they've come up with after so many years inactive.

Purchasing the album also entitles me a chance to get a code to purchase a ticket to a performance in London.

Only a handful of European countries, the UK and Australia are included in the ticket pre-sale.

Why Australia, when the Americas, Asia and Africa aren't included and Australia is far away from London, compared to all the other countries included?

The reason is that, when ABBA had started their journey, it was no other country than Australia that embraced their music and really kick-started their huge success.

ABBA is forever grateful to Australia for that and have included the land Down Under in the launch of their new venture.
