An Affirming Tree

Today last week, I went to one of the organisations I volunteer for.

Near the volunteer lockers, a Xmas tree had been set up with lighting.

There were some baubles but instead of the other usual decorations of candy canes, snowmen and so forth, it had various badges with pronouns and flag colours.

I took some closer photographs so you can see for yourself.

Makes sense since this place is, after all, a 'queer' organisation.

Not to mention that snowmen on a tree is sexist and ridiculous when it's blazing hot Summer here.

(Even in Winter, there's no snow here.)
