Im fairly new to owning rats. I have 2 Neutered Boys currently.
1. In the future i want to have up to 10 rats. (I have a pretty decently sized cage)
Most of the time i see people with 2 separate cages for their males and females.
Would it be possible to have both males and females in the same cage? (If the boys were neutered so no babies)
Or would any other issues occur such as Fighting?
2. What are good things to put in a home made rat food? (My grandma only buys seed foods. So id like to try to make them something good)
3. The floor of my second layer is bars. Ive tried putting blankets, pads, etc over it. But my boys think they’re interior decorators and just move everything off of it.
Im not sure what i can use to cover the bars and make it move comfortable for them where they wont be able to move it.
