Hello of Pet Rat Amino! I am looking for new welcomers once again!

What are welcomers?

Welcomers are people of this community who want to make other feel more welcome, we leave our welcoming messages on the profile of the basic rules ect... :)

How do you become one?

You can become a welcomer right here In this post actually! I am in need of some as all 3 of mine are gone for personal matters :). I will accept 2-3 new welcomers. You can comment your answers in the comments or message me them.

I am pretty friendly and active on amino in general, and would like to be more helpful/active in this community!

Pacific (PT), West coast

5.}How active are you? (Provide screenshots)

I am typically active 2000+ minutes per week on amino in general, though I just returned from a trip. I am online for around 20 minutes per day as of right now. (2nd screenshot is amino in general, 1st is this amino)

6.} Why do you think welcoming is necessary?

Welcoming makes them more willing to stay, and it provides them with somebody they could feel comfortable talking to and/or asking for help.

She/her and they/them, i don’t mind.

3.} Why do you think you would be a good welcomer?

i feel i have the motivation to help people settle into the community as i know what it’s like to not have the needed to find what i may be looking for.

4.} What is your time zone?

im currently in the GMT time zone, England.

im pretty active; i’m already a member of the photography group and still have yet to turn in a post later than the day it’s chosen! - however, my activity is a little low currently as i’ve just returned from a small hiatus.

6.} Why do you think welcoming is necessary?

i believe that when someone s a community, it’s the welcoming that can help them stick around. when you don’t know what you can do in a community, it can be hard to settle in and stick with it. i feel that by having a welcoming team, we increase the chance of people being more comfortable and making more friends!
