2022 recap

This challenge sounded fun and I had planned to possibly make one of these anyway so I decided to enter! If I’m being quite honest apart from 2020, 2022 has been the most boring for me. I really didn’t achieve anything or do much but I already have some plans in place for 2023 so hopefully it will be better.

For this year I picked one thing from each month, even if it was just small.

My friend and I took the dogs on holiday to Cornwall for the first time. They loved it so much and Elvis also celebrated his sixth birthday while we were there.

We went on a pretty walk for Mother’s Day.

Easter! And I also took some photos of my dogs in the bluebells which are probably my favourites I took this year.

We watched quite a few sunsets and I decided to apply for Elvis’ Intermediate Trick Title.

The only good memory I have from July is this dog show I went to right at the start. I injured my ankle the day after my birthday and wasn’t walking again until August :sweat_smile:

I spent pretty much the whole of this month looking after other people’s dogs. Didn’t get much time at home.

Pet goals for next year

Apply for his advanced trick dog title

Elvis already knows the required stuff I just need to actually get round to filming and paying.

Earn his foundation hoopers award and possibly even bronze too.

I had planned to do this ages ago but if I’m being honest I hardly did any training with my dogs this year. I just lost my motivation for it and I feel bad but I hope to change that in 2023.

Take the dogs on holiday three times

I already have two holidays booked with the dogs more towards the end of 2023 but I’m hoping to sneak a third one in there more towards the start. Just depends if my friends can get the time off work.
