This is my entry for the Mercury. I hope you like it!! :confetti_ball:

First I’m going to start off with Archie! Archie has celebrated over half of his birthdays here in pets amino and I’ve made a blog for each of them. The older ones don’t go into much detail but it’s still nice to look back on.

He’ll soon be celebrating his 9th birthday!! :balloon:

Archie’s birthday is the 5th of November and I’ve already started buying presents for him. So far he’s got two cans of expensive dog food, a new bed, homemade carrot treats, dried carrot treats and a dentastick (it’s one with natural ingredients. Nothing bad).

I’ll also be making him a birthday cake and I’ve found a recipe I might use. It involves carrots, coconut oil and blueberries.

As you can tell I love to spoil my dogs on their birthdays and I always stick candles in their cake/treats I make so we can sing happy birthday. I also buy balloons and scatter them around the house (not that the dogs care about the balloons at all) :balloon:

I think I’ll be at college on Archie’s Birthday this year since it falls on a Tuesday. I don’t get home until it’s dark so I unfortunately won’t have time to take him on a nice long walk in the fields or anything like I’ve done in the past.

Elvis’s birthday is on the 23rd of February and I just do the same with him as I do with Archie. I buy lots of presents, make a cake or treats, sing happy birthday, blow up balloons and do as much fun stuff as possible. Last year I had a day off so I was able to take him on a nice long walk.

I’d just like to say before I end this blog that I do spoil my dogs as much as I possibly can on birthdays and even more on Christmas but I do save all of my money throughout the year for occasions like this. I pay for it all myself, I just didn’t want anyone to think I was being ungrateful in this entry or anything.
