••Hello! Caramel&Pets here, and I am going to give you that accurate sizes for a guinea pig cage! Let's get right into it.••
•A lot of people buy the Kaytee starter kits, or even, Walmart cages!•
•The minimum for one piggy is 7.5 square feet for 1-2 guinea pigs.
•The recommended is 10.5 square feet for 1-2 guinea pigs.
•Ideal cages are the following: Midwest, C&C, and possibly a playpen.
•Cages that aren't recommended: Starter kits, ferret cages, chinchilla cages, Walmart cages, or any cages under 7.5 square feet.
•A good cage should be able to have enough space for a hideout, water bottle or bowl, food dish, toys, and hay rack. (Make sure they have running space)

Great post. My boys each have a 2X5 C&C (thats about 13.5 square feet each). They definitely enjoy the extra space. The photo below is kinda old but the only good one I have of the cage.
I think my piggies have a pretty big cage
It's a mixture between s from two play pens and some C&C grids.
(The only thing I whould change is the wall, they chew on the paint a bit which, obviously isn't good.)
there are 4 females in the first pic and 1 Male in the second pic.
Your cages are amazing!

I'm proud of them. They take up an entire room but I wasn't doing anything with the room before so I have no problem giving it to them.
Really nice post!
Thank you very much! :revolving_hearts: :relaxed:
Are you able to please add a photo to this? Then I can feature it on Monday :)
Oh wow! Of course! Any specific photos in mind?
