Life’s too short (+ NEWS)

Kills me to type it, but Bob has been put down. He truly was a good cat and I couldn’t have asked for better. I didn’t get to be there considering I was at school and it was Halloween. It truly sucks. I even went over to my grandparents house yesterday, and I knew he wouldn’t be there, but it was still weird. I’ve been told by a couple people that it sucks and that it will hit me at random times. Strangely that hasn’t happened yet. Could be cause I got my dad’s emotional state. In other words, he rarely cries, so do I. I even made him my background for my phone and still haven’t cried yet.

Anyway, I have to thank you all who commented on the blog I posted when I said he got cancer. Your comments were very sweet and delighted my soul. Also I feel weird for saying “thank you” as a reply…I honestly didn’t know what to say. Oh and for the record I’m sick right now which also makes me too exhausted to cry.

There is good news though. My grandparents don’t like Bob not being there. At first I felt like this was too soon, but I understand now. They want to get a cat or maybe even a kitten at a shelter either tomorrow or Saturday! I am very excited for this. At first I literally was like, “Can’t we at least wait like a month.” But honestly I don’t want to go back to an empty house.

They are also going to let me name this cat/kitten. I’m planning on picking a social male kitten if I can find one. Suggestions for names are welcome, however I’m probably gonna end up naming him something that I think fits. I like the names Frank, Willow, Avery, Oliver, Hawk, Finn, Gizmo, Clifford, Noah, Asher, Cody, and more. If you do want to suggest, my grandparents will probably want be to pick a more human name, and I want something to do with nature, electricity, or an energetic name like “Swift”. If you guys give me really good names, I’ll make a poll :D.
