Meet Monte and Wyo

Welcome Monte & Wyo!

Monte (beige teddy rex dumbo) and Wyo (fawn hooded teddy rex dumbo) entered my home and heart yesterday. These two brothers were born 12/5/23 and are just as sweet and snuggly as their “teddy bear” coat might imply.

General Rat Update

In other news, I just finished (as in an hour ago) expanding my main rat cage. My general husbandry rule is to look at the reasonable minimum requirements and then to double them. My old set up was recommended to house between 8-12 rats. With Monte & Wyo becoming rats 6 & 7, I just had to expand again. I have plans to eventually add a deeper plexiglass dig tray, but my wallet needs to do a bit of recuperating first. :sweat_smile:
