My Adventures in Amman, Jordan

On   September   13th, I   was blessed with

meeting my boyfriend of 3 years, for the

first time in person. I anxiously and excitedly

traveled for 16 hours overseas from Atlanta,

Georgia to   Amman, Jordan    and    it   was

truly an incredible experience. Despite the

criticism and warning I received from my

family that this trip could end up a disaster;

I did it and it’s the best decision I have ever

made. Traveling to Jordan taught me a lot

about myself, the world, and how amazing

my man really is.

⋆ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 ⋆

𝙰𝚖𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕

I absolutely LOVED the Amman Citadel in

Jordan. It’s one of the few places that I’d

like to visit again, because of how   close  

and relaxing the place was. It had a number

of historical sites with many ruins, tombs,

and statues which were all interesting to

learn about. I overall had a great time time

here, bonding with him and his brothers.

⋆ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟒 ⋆

𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚛𝚊

Unlike the Amman Citadel, Petra is quite a

distance away from the city of Amman. So,

my boyfriend and I took a small   roadtrip

and drove 3 hours through the hot desert.

Surprisingly, it isn’t as scary as it sounds,

because we ed many residential areas

and police stations. After   we   arrived, we

walked    through   the   ancient   city   which

was       riddled          with        gorges       and

carved   architecture along   the mountains

and    rocks,    until     we    arrived    to     the

Al-Khazneh temple.   It   was breath-taking.

No, literally breath-taking, because the walk

back to the car underneath the raging sun

killed me! (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑)

Regardless,   it    was fun   and   the journey

there   was   awkwardly   romantic   between

the two of us. :hearts:

⋆ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟓 ⋆

𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛

Day 5 was particular the most emotional for

me, because I spent the day with his Mom

and little sister. I bonded with them, walking

to      the   Roman   Theater     and    through

downtown; chatting, laughing, and looking

around in souvenir shops. I felt a strong and

mutual   connection between them, which

later brought me to tears, because of how

much I will miss them. The Roman Theater

was beautiful, but not as beautiful as their

hearts     and    the   memories we   created

together.

⋆ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟔 ⋆

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙳𝚎𝚊𝚍 𝚂𝚎𝚊

I had been interested in visiting The Dead

Sea   since   the   start of   my trip and I’m

happy that my boyfriend dragged me there,

a day before my departure, after he caught

a glimpse of all my dead sea magnets that

I collected from   a souvenir   shop!   What

makes The Dead Sea   so   unique   and    a

main attraction is the salt water content.

It    consist    of    so   much   salt   that    it’s

inhabitable. There are also many salt rocks

and   if   you   swim in it, you float! It was

beautiful,   and   I had a fun day spent with

him and his brothers. (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

Jordan was   a    wondrous experience and

meeting   the    love   of    my    life   couldn’t

have been more real.

I can’t wait to go back.
