I'm getting ready for a corn snake but I want to hear what you think before I make the purchase! I am new to reptiles, so please comment your thoughts!
I have a 4 ft × 16 in × 16 in enclosure, but its split in half so this little portion here (2 ft x 16in x 16in) is gonna be for the baby until it grows into the full 4 ft enclosure.

HEATING & LIGHTING:
It gets chilly at night here so I opted for the arcadia deep heat projector at 80W so that I can keep it going at night. I know corn snakes don't require UVB, but I plan on getting a bulb before getting the snake since I've read it has benefits.
I ordered an inkbird wifi thermostat off of amazon which I will be hooking up with the deep heat projector.
The enclosure is situated near large windows that get a lot of light. I hope this can help with the day/night cycle.
HUMIDITY:
It's very dry here, and I hear that CHEs can dry things out quickly too (I'm assuming DHPs are similar in that) so I'm going to be extra careful about this.
I went for Forest Floor natural cypress bedding since I hear it holds humidity better than aspen & is less likely to mold.
I have a mesh top which is terrible for holding humidity so I may modify this.
I bought a govee wifi hygrometer which I will use to monitor the humidity levels for at least a week before I get a snake so I can make the necessary changes BEFORE getting the snake.
DECOR, HIDES, ENRICHMENT:

I have 2 hides, one basket-style hide on the cold side, and a rock-style hide on the warm side. They are both quite small, though they come in larger sizes and I plan on upgrading them as my snake grows bigger.
I put less plant cover on the rock hide so that the rock could get more direct heat and be a basking spot- I have no idea if that'll do anything for me so I'll monitor the temps for at least a week.
My goal was to try to make the enclosure look as pretty as I could. Since my family and friends despise snakes, I want to make my snake appear as pretty as possible alongside the luscious plants so that maybe they could find it beautiful & their opinions could change. I love sharing my love for animals, so this is important to me.
I tied 4 wooden ladybugs to some of the plants simply because I thought itd be cute. They're not glued on, they're tied by a thin wire wrapped in soft material.
I got spider wood in the middle since after looking at the wood my reptile store offered, I thought spider wood would be the most fun to climb. I cut some of the decorative flowers and stuck them into some crevices in the wood. They fit very nice and snug.

Oh! If you’re looking for ways to handle the humidity escaping you can use aluminum or dryer tape to seal a lot of the mesh to cut down on the loss! Also you can make a fun background for around the tank that you’re not looking through, you can DIY with wrapping paper or even use cardboard and paint a cool background!
I used aluminum and it definitely helped a lot!! Painting a background is such a cute idea, I think I'll definitely try it out!

Awesome I’m glad to hear that using aluminum helped! And the background isn’t mandatory but I know doing extra things that help enrichment is great especially something fun you can DIY :D

Haha yea I think itll help with making the snake comfortable too cuz they're shy and the see through glass could be stressful I think
Looks suitable, if they humidity keeps dropping lower and lower or is low for a long period of time, just mist down about 2-3 times. Maybe add one extra hide just to be sure that the corn snake feels secure since younger ones tend to get a little more stressed if they are in a big enclosure. So adding more stuff helps it seem more safe and secure.
I did end up adding more hides & things to climb on, and also a humid hide! Also after some trial and error before getting my snake, I found the solution to put aluminum foil on the top so the humidity has gotten waaay better! Seriously it got down way too low at night... now its stable and I can rest worry free  crazy what a simple fix can do.
It looks like he’s going to love it. I would definitely add more hiding places and places where they can dig easily. Other that that’s it looks great
Yes! I plan on doing so. Thank you!
Looks like you're doing everything right! Just make sure it has plenty of places to hide, and the tank is well sealed- I had a snake once and because the lid was light he could push it open and got out... Don't worry we found him
you should be prepared because they are fast snakes
I got to hold and reserve the baby I'm buying! He was a quick little guy for sure, but he was quite calm in my hands.
