I know someone else who made an AA x Terraria AU so I got inspired to make my own, but while theirs recasts the NPCs and the Player as AA characters, mine turns the following random selection of idiots into "Players".
Yes, they will always respawn when they die. Yes, they will be getting their asses kicked multiple times. Yes, it scares me too.
