First and foremost I would like

to say "Thank you" again to those

that wished me luck on my move.

I have been here about a month

now and I'm finally settled in.

I am happy to say that I was offered

an AmeriCorps position! This has been

a dream of mine for a VERY long time

and I'm thrilled that it's coming true.

I like the school I was assigned to

and the people. Most of the staff,

teachers, students, and AmeriCorps

are nice.

Some of the kindergarten teachers

are a little intimidating. Yikes.

I was initially told that I would have

4th and 5th graders but then I find

out today that I'll have almost all

kinders on my caseload with only

two 5th graders.

I'm nervous but excited!

I'll be sure to bring you along on

my journey. ♡
