My friend drew her gardevoir from her Omega Ruby playthrough so I decided to draw mine. Vance is the result of not owning a dawn stone and having a very serious nature.
And Wally's Gallade has a thing for him :skull:
Yes I know gallade is exclusive to Oras but him having a Gallade just makes more sense compared to a gardevoir for some reason (cause of the valiant protector side and the unfairness of the player never finding a dawn stone just like how Calem has a mega absol in XY but you can't get mega absol throughout the entire game until post-game)
By the time my trainer DOES find a dawn stone it's already too late and the kirlia that does evolve ends up being an absolute dumbass. Vance tolerates Turner, but seriously hates him since Vance sees himself as much more intelligent than other pokemon and considers most of his peers "inferior" for the most part. Vance does have a big ego and often that does get in the way of battling, since he thinks he's superior to the rest of the on the team. Even going to the extent of refusing to battle at times because he thinks it's a waste of his time and will only the battle if he thinks it'll be entertaining or amusing.
Despite all of this, Vance has a big soft spot for Ziggy the linoone and her zigzagoon gang. Vance thinks the zigzagoon very cute. He just recently found out how zigzagoon can use pickup to grab nuggets and rare candies which makes him consider them even more valuable than he originally thought, so he treats them kindly with a lot of love and respect. (Now if only he could do the same to Poochy and Stormy)
