Being able to debate well doesn't mean that your beliefs are true, just that you're good at defending them. In the same way, debating poorly doesn't necessarily make you wrong. It just means you're bad at promoting your ideas.

there’s no such thing as a „true“ or „false“ belief per se, that’s an oxymoron in and of itself

Pretty presumptuous of you to decide whether I can or can't disagree. A belief can be true or false. The word doesn't indicate that a belief itself is one or the other. A belief that matches with reality is true and one that doesn't is false. But if you can't label a belief is true or false, you can't justify any belief that you hold.

by dictionary definition, a belief is „an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof”, suggesting that it can’t be fully objective. a belief can have strong substance in its argument, but it can’t be true or false

for example, having belief in an objective truth (e.g. there is water on earth) is not the same as the truth itself, as many people can share that same belief with different arguments for it

Yeah, "ESPECIALLY without proof."

If you have a belief that turns out to be true, it's a correct belief until you turn it into knowledge. Assuming you can even apply the scientific method in that case.

Absolutely agreed. There is this weird stereotype about individuals who don't like debating or are debating poorly . They're often presumed as ill-informed.
