Here is the scenario:
Linda is 31 years old, single, outspoken, and very bright. She majored in philosophy. As a student, she was deeply concerned with issues of discrimination and social justice, and also participated in anti-nuclear demonstrations. Which is more probable? 1) Linda is a bank teller; or 2) Linda is a bank teller and is active in the feminist movement.
Why?

2.
Since 1. is a very specific type of person, while 2 is more common.
I feel as though you may have your numbers backwards here? Idk it just seems weird to call a bank teller a specific type of person

Oops yeah, I did. I thought the entire thing was 1. pretty much
Probability is conjunctive.
Depends fron region to region.

US generally how about
Both answers are correct. If she is more "aware" she may be an "active feminist", although if you work in a place like a bank, activism (of any kind) will be frowned upon by coworkers and clients. Bank employees are specific - often cold in manners. Clients will not like controversy, the bank will not want to have a problem. Private life and work are two different things, although in such matters she can "cross the borders". Another issue - where does Linda live? Where is she from? How does she feel at work?
Hmm assume she is in Minnesota because im thirsty and want a small amount of sprite and she is content at work but not fulfilled like every bank teller ever
