If you want to publish your photoshop lesson on a website what features do you want to see there? Now I'm talking exactly about a page for creating own lesson. The most important here is to make this process fast and easy, as no one wants to spend a couple of hours just for describing all steps in detail. Right now I'm working on page like this. So for me the most boring part is writing links, like go to File-Filter-Blur, that's why I have added menu links with dropdowns so you can easily select the one you want and it will be added to your text. Also I have separated tools by groups . For example, selective tools - lasso tool. That works like for menu links, just click on it and it will be added immediately. Of course, field for adding screenshoots and smiles for describing your mood during your work. All this has to speed up this process, but there's definitely something else what I am missing. If you have any ideas or want to share your opinion about it go in comments. I'm waiting :)

I think it really depends on who your audience is. Are you talking to people brand new to the program or a little more seasoned? That will determine your lanuage.
Secondly, things that should be quick, make it quick. Instead of saying menu>menu item>click this one...
Just show a screenshot of where items can be found along with shortcut keys if available.

I'm talking about more experienced s. I agree with you, but there will be too many screenshoots with menus, what as for me isn't really good. They have to be done for settings, like blending mode

Got ya
K let me revise:
To be hellful with the written portion, just say what you are going for visually, make it short, this way people can understand the process instead of step by step.
It will help keep everything to a minimum...you can even leave parts out to allow for exploration instead of them "copying" whst you did. It becomes more of a case study in this way, less tutorial.

Yes, totally agree. At first there will be basic short description and if someone is interested he'll go further. The best way to learn something is to do it for yourself :)
