Feature Requirements (UPDATED)

Hello! Do you want to be featured in PYC? Well this post will help! We felt like our last feature requirements were a bit confusing to follow to some. We also noticed how people pay more attention to shorter ads. We also would love some input so if you want to add to the current list of requirements, comment below and we will look over your ideas. But without further ado let's get to the new feature requirements!

Greeting

We want you to greet your audience. It's polite that way. So we require a little greeting for the reader. You can just say hi or go all out with it.

Length

We decided not to go with a certain length on your ads. All we ask is that your ad to be at least 5 lines. Now your community links and pictures do not count towards the five lines in your ad. So you actually need to add words and stuff about your community. Some people won't just click on a bare link and also ads less than five lines will be disabled after 24 hours anyway. So adding words with your pictures and links are strongly advised.

Ad Content

Put something about your community. Here's a small list of details you can add about your community. The more details you add, the more likely you are to get featured in PYC. You don't have to add all of them but put at least 3 of them in your ad.

:point_right: Events in your community

:point_right: Guidelines in the community

:point_right: Chats in the community

:point_right: Staff in the community

:point_right: Staff needed in the community

... And many more

Media

You must put at least 1 form of media in the ad. Examples are a picture, video, or gif. They just add a bit more to the ad.

Link

You must at least put 1 link to the community you're promoting in the ad. This is so people know where they can find the community and they can it in one click. People love convenience! Be sure the link is not expired or have a 404 error if you want to be featured.

Creativity

It pays to be creative and unique to anything in life. Just add some creativity to your ad. Add your own spin to it. Make it stand out from the rest.
