In/Spectre!

Are you familiar with the up-and-coming anime In/Spectre?

Whether you are, or aren't, this amino might change your mind.

Kyokō Suiri was a novel written in 2011. Since then, it was adapted into a Shōnen Manga, and now, in 2020, on 6.8/10 on IMDB, a 3.7/5 on Crunchyroll, and a 7.3/10 on myanimelist.net.

The Plot:

On one eerie day, an 11 year old Kotoko Iwanaga is brought to a field in the woods. There, the Yōkai, or spirits, of the woods implore Iwanaga to become their goddess of wisdom. The naïve girl agrees to become the human representation of Kuebiko, Shinto kami of wisdom. Five years later, and the cute Iwanaga is still presuming the role of mediator to Yōkai, young or old, peaceful or murderous, she does her best.

In my opinion, it's a unique premise coupled with beautiful animation. The action scenes aren't half-bad, either. With only twelve episodes (subtitled), In/Spectre is shaping up to be a really interesting anime. :)
