Yes, this very much needs to be said. I had salad before this was announced, and lucky me isn't healthy anymore.

I store a bunch of romaine lettuce because I buy it in bulk. I got my lettuce about a week ago and my guinea pigs and rabbit haven't shown any symptoms. should I still get rid of it?
If you want to keep it, then you should make sure to wash it as good as you possibly can
